edited March 1 in Introduce Yourself
Hi

Just wanted to introduce myself. Just joined today and still finding my way around. I'm a fat Mum looking to lose a couple of stone.

I exercise 3-4 times a week and consider myself to be reasonable fit - working up a right good sweat each time, but I've never given a thought to what I eat and drink and the weight has crept up :drinker: too much wine and good living I guess.

Hoping that this site will take my mind off the munchies and keep me motivated.

picnic2day (why is it so hard to find a username that hasn't already been used!)

I've only been on here 5 days but I'm loving it and I'm sure I'm here to stay.

I had no massive hope or ambitions in the weight loss area, I know I need to lose some but that wasn't the be all and end all for me.

It's the health side that really concerns me, I'm older than I used to be and was starting to get quite worried about fitness and general well being.

I know the two go hand in hand, and my real goal is to stay fit and healthy for as long as possible - I've read too many scary magazine articles about diabetes and strokes :noway:

I've never been a calorie counter so I've been very surprised/shocked at the values in some of the foods I've been eating - goes to show that with just a few small changed a huge difference can be made.

And surprisingly it seems that my exercise levels are not too shabby either.

    Onwards and upwards :flowerforyou:
