Over the course of 8 days I have managed to take my time up on the elliptical from a measly 5 minutes to 30. I have also been able to pick up a slight pace ( I'm not at the recommended rpm my machine wants me at but close) and have added 15 more unites to the 30. Lunges and squats hurt my knees
I'm watched so many youtube videos and i am fairly confident that I'm doing them as described but they still hurt my knees. Is this something I'm going to have to work through or are there people who just can't do those type of exercises?

I gave up my 4-6 cans of mountain dew a day and drink water. What I cannot give up is my coffee, with a little sugar and creamer. Burning 675 calories a week
I am so confused by this. My goal is 675 calories burned a week. Which makes no sense when one workout burns approximately 300.. Does this mean I only need to burn 675 to meet my end goal or why exactly is the weekly number?

I made it 30 minutes on the ellipitcal today!!

My calorie goal is 1200. today I ate 1400 but burned 600 and I have a net of 700. Is that good? bad? I have read past posts about eating your calories but I still don't understand my numbers. does the 700 mean I can go get a small bowl of vanilla ice cream? or something small?
