Dislocated my shoulder doing action song
I have been informally diagnosed with hyper mobility and have had problems for years. I was a gymnast and very muscular which supported my joints to an extent, until my joints became too painful to continue. I blamed gymnastics for a while. During the summer I had to get my ulna bone shortened because it had grown too long…

Physio help please - hyper-mobility and injury recovery
Hi, I have recently found out I have hyper-mobility which means I need to strengthen up my joints to avoid further injury. One of my shoulders was partly dislocated doing pull-ups. My physiotherapist suggested I do some exercises focusing on the one shoulder before I can resume swimming. I also have a recurring knee…

NSV 10k
Hi everyone, I ran my first 10k today and I didn't need to walk once. I managed it in 51:44, much faster than my original 60min target. I do kettle bells and have recently been trying out the trx things. I have only been back at the gym a few weeks and already I look too masculine - I am one of…

Feel like a failure
I thought I was doing really well in terms of dieting and cutting out almost all unhealthy snacks and sweets (candy) but had a massive lapse today :( I started well doing quite a bit of exercise which is hard with two small children. But managed a bit of aerobics and walking with the kids, felt great after it but then…

post pregnancy diet
Hi, I had my second baby 11 weeks ago and really want to be back in my old clothes. I can squeeze some on but they don't look right. I managed to do a lot of exercise last time round but am struggling to find the time with a toddler and a baby to look after. Therefore I am dieting by trying to cut out unhealthy snacks and…
