MS 150 Bay to Bay train in N.C. San Diego
I'm training to complete my fourth MS Bay to Bay 150 ride and am interested in training with others in North County San Diego that are training for the same ride or other longer Century rides. My group hasn't even started to ride together and I'm afraid that I will lose focus on my goals. Goal #1 be ready for the MS 150…

Biking 150 miles to fight Multiple Sclerosis and to hit my M
Over the last three years I have biked the 150 mile Multiple Sclerosis Bay to Bay challenge in October and have been absolutely exhausted. My Mother was diagnosed with MS a few years ago and that's primarily the reason I ride in this event and to raise money for this most outstanding organization MS Foundation. I have…

What do you eat before and during a long ride or run that gives you the energy you need with no fear of bonking in the middle of your event?

BMI says "NO LONGER OBESE!" :)
I haven't updated my weight yet on MFP as I do this once a week on Mondays, but weigh myself daily to see if I'm on track to hit my numbers and much to my surprise I was one pound under the obese category on the BMI calculator. Now find myself in the "overweight" category. "What?" That's not flattering... My weight goal…

Is this still OK? I'm not a nutritionist but have been diagnosed in the past with high blood sugar in the past and…

When do you stop eating at the end of the day?
I need a little advice from some veterans out there as to what time of the day is the best time to stop eating that produces the best overall results for weight control...? I'm finding conflicting advice from my own perspective and want to know from those of you that are getting consistant results. Thanks in advance!

Cyclist diet help needed
Do any cyclist out there have any suggetions on what works for them on the bike that won't kill your daily net calories intake and also keeps you from bonking? I want to be able to ride strong for 30-50 miles three times a week without eating too much but also want to make it up the three mile hill at the end of the ride.

Hello, my name is Mike and I am addicted to MFP!
I have literally tried everything in my arsenal as far as aerobic and resistance training is concerned over the last 18 months and have not been able to drop any weight from my 245 pound plateau(down from 260) until three weeks ago when I discoved "myfitnesspal" and I'm addicted to it's methods and the simplistic measures…

245 lb. cyclist that is committed to losing weight
I have hit a plateau and stuck at 245lbs for over a year now and am going to use myfitnesspal as a last ditch effort before I seek professional help. As a 6 foot cyclist, I need to be south of 200 lbs to be as competitive as I would like to be and to be able to climb as needed in the longer century rides I have done and…
