Help me understand BMR
I was doing some reading here on the forums and saw something about figuring out my BMR to figure out how many calories I need a day. I found a BMR calculator and it says I have a BMR of1688.95. In light of this information, how many calories should I be eating or how do I figure it out from there? TIA!

What is your favorite low carb food?
Mine has to be Avocados....in a medium Haas avocado there are 14 carbs by 12 grams fiber!! Its like a super food. I'm also into "riced" cauliflower with butter, salt and pepper. Stir fry with chicken, broccoli, mushrooms and Braggs Liquid Aminos over the riced cauliflower.

HI all, I am on a low carb diet (basically Atkins) and try to stay under 20-30 carbs a day. I set my calorie goal as 1400 + I exercise and usually eat all those calories back. Setting a Goal Weight
