After a tough first half with left foot issues, the heat and not so great training due to getting super busy with work I completed my first half on May 6th in 2:41. Not great but it's a start, right? So here I am signed up for my 2nd on October 21st!

When is your next HM...or 1st?
Mine is May 6th. I am running the First Midwest Bank Southwest half marathon. It literally runs about 1 block from my house so I can crawl home :)

I Officially started the Hal Higdon Novice 2 HM training program. Week 1...so far so good!

Just curious how many races people do a year especially HM and full marathons? Last year I did- 5-5ks 1-4 mile 1-8k 1-10k

how many miles are you logging a week
So my half is not until the beginning of May and I was wondering how many miles I should be logging at this point? Last week was 12.6. This week I'm at 7.3 so far. I was thinking 16-20 but is that enough?

What weight do you use?
Just curious, does everyone count their weight loss from the day they started MFP or from their highest weight? I hit my highest weight last August and have been using that but my starting weight with MFP in May was 5.5lbs less???

My small NSV :)
So today I did the unthinkable (or at least it was a few months ago)... I just ran 5 miles straight in 56:46!! That's the first time I've EVER run (A) that long and (B) without stopping to gasp for air! And (C) under an hour is a small bonus! :) Yeah me!

Just curious how everyone did their first 2 months using MFP? I will be hitting 2 moonths on July 16th, this Saturday. I lost 15.5lbs the first month and only 5.1 lbs this months.
