Popcorn snack messing me up?

Excercise calories wrong?
It seems that the exercise calories burned on this site are wrong. I have googled exercise calories burned and they are always lower than the ones here. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed that.? And what about the food calories? I am wondering if their wrong too? I hope not:frown:

Is Splenda good or bad?
Just wondering about the artificial sweetener, "Splenda" ? I want to start using it, but have heard that it is not that good for you. Has anyone done any research on the subject?

Side effects of eating too much protein?
Does anyone know what the side effects are of too much protein? I heard it can make your face look fuller, but then again, there are people on these high protein diets,, like Atkins and the Dukan diet that are losing tons of weight and look great...soooo confused...

I started lifting weights. I am lifting 5 pounds, 3 times, 17 reps each. I don' t know how to add this to my daily exercise report. What do you put in under? I tired lifting weight, but nothing came up. Does anyone know.? I would really appreciate it if you could tell me :smile:

I walk 60--120 minutes a day. I am watching what I am eating. I am drinking water. But, I am not losing anything from my belly. Maybe some in my legs and butt. Should I add lifting weights or some other kind of exercise to burn the fat at a more rapid pace?

Is the Calorie-- Calculator wrong?
I am trying to figure out how many calories I need a day. I went to the calculator on this site and it said to lose 1 pound a week, I should consume 2,020 calories a day. I added the weight at 280 with no exercise. Then when I put the exercise at 60 minutes a day, the calculator still stayed at 2,020 calories a day, it did…

Has anyone heard about the Dukan Diet? I have a friend who said her cousin has lost a ton of weight on it. I am willing to try it, but do not want to go on another fad diet and gain all the weight back. Just wondering if anyone has tried it and what your results have been...?

About to give up
I v'e been walking a month now, most days I go out with a friend and walk 1-2 hours. I am also watching what I am eating. It's not coming off like it should. I am 54. If i did this in my 20's or 30's. I would have taken 20 pounds by now. I am about to give up.

Night time eating
Does anyone suffer from night time eating? I do and it is frustrating. I do good all day and then after dinner, I struggle. All my hard work during the day goes out the window. I am doing better on myfitnesspal, but I still struggle. Any one have any suggestions?
