Working out "too" much. Help please!
I have heard a variety of different opinions on this subject, and not really sure who to believe. I have a goal to lose 30 pounds in 2 months. Needs to be done, period. My habit is not to take any days off between work outs because I get off track, and my deadline is looming over my head. Just curious as what the best…

Fruit, Vegetables, and Fish diet?
So, I'm gearing up to enlist in the navy. Exercising 4 or more times a week, a mixture of cardio and strength training - and I'm seeing very little weight come off. I can see a physical difference for sure, but the scale has not been kind. I've been working out for 2 months as of now, and as a little extra push before I go…

I'm scared! But here I come p90x, anyway!
So, in the last few months I completed (edit) 15 days of the 30 day shred with JIllian Michaels, and while at work I did something awful to my back, and gained the weight back! With taking more precautions with my back at work, and working towards strengthening the muscles, it's nearly 100% again. So, while I may regret…

Way below the calorie recommendation.
I just wanted to know how close to stay to the recommended calorie intake that mfp provides. Right now I am waaaaay under without any exercise, and with the exercise I've done today and the food I've logged I still have 1600 calories left. I've eaten cottage cheese w/ yogurt, a small salad, a "naked" smoothie, and some…

Not even coming close to calorie intake
The calorie intake goal that mfp provides, is that what we "should" be eating, or the "maximum" that we can eat? Because I'm not even coming close. :[ I work 10 hours overnight as a caretaker, and just don't eat except the occasional dried cranberry. Today I've had cottage cheese w/ yogurt, a salad, some "naked" shake, and…

Military Bound Group? - Going to start the 30 Day shred!
As of several months ago, I've decided that I want to/am going to join the navy. (Although my brother keeps pushing for me to be a marine like him, and my little sister!) I have started on the weight loss route before a few months ago and completely fell off the wagon once I moved out of my parents house and away from the…

I'm tired of being in the "obese" category.
Hello! My name is Deb, and I just joined fitness pal because I am just sick and tired of being in the "obese" category of the BMI...So, I'm going on a diet, going on a excersize plan, and I'm motivated to keep it going! I think I'm going to like it here. :) I'm excited about the food and the excersize diary, so I can…
