    Levemir helps...I had to go back on mine due to a recent 8-day binge-fest that "kicked in" while recovering from surgery on my foot (& off my feet most of the time).

    I definitely know the difference when I forget it. I've been running high all week then realized I've been stressing alot... Hope you foot feels better...

    94 - mine has been in the 90's every morning this week and good overall, except for being unexpectedly high once after eating BBQ ribs - I suspect the slaw, beans, and dry rub all had more sugar than I realized and it was just too much.

    Ran the St Jude Marathon weekend 5k race yesterday, and was very happy with my pre-race regimen! Carb loading isn't really possible for a diabetic, but I ate a few more slow carbs the day before, a big bowl of oatmeal the morning of, and a big orange before the race. It seems like one orange is about perfect to keep me happy for a 5k run.
