I was 66 this morning and 100 the day before.

Isn't this getting dangerously low? In my terms (Canadian) that would only be 3.6!

    Hi Sheila.

I have found that chicken breast is a lot more versatile when I marinate it. The marinade flavors are based on final recipe.

I have used Italian style dressings, soy sauce with lemon juice & spices for asian style dishes,
soy sauce, lime juice and cilantro for Mexican style, buttermilk &/or plain yogurt and spices for Greek or Mediterranean dishes. Lots of options.

133 this morning. I just switched this week from monitoring 1x/day before bed to 1x/day before breakfast. There is a clear relationship between total carbs the day before, and the morning reading. Knowledge is power, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt a little extra figuring out that my nutrition has to permanently change. Even my legs tingled last night after a day of eating more or less like I used to.

I slept in and it was 5.4 (97.5)
Not on any diabetic meds and hope I can keep it that way but I will find out end of July if my body can do it with diet and exercise. Mostly it's stable but I have to watch way more carefully now and furthermore eat 2055 calories to try and maintain my weight. That's around 240-250g of carbs per day and although this sounds fabulous it's nerve wracking wondering how it's affecting my body. Test strips are so expensive and I need extra to keep on top of it... Lol

@JaneKnoll1, are you near a WalMart? Their Relion strips are pretty affordable. That is a nice level for fasting. Keep up the good work.

    117. I tried adding more nighttime medicine instead of breaking it up into morning and night. So even though I had super bad stuff yesterday and my daytime levels were higher due to food, maybe taking all meds at night will work better. Just need to eliminate the unhealthy food/drinks during the day.

7.5 (135) Yesterday, after exercising, I was 4.2 (75.6) and at bedtime 5.1(91.8). The doctor told me if I get below 5 during the day, to reduce my glicacide. So, today, I will reduce it by 1/2 pill and see how it works out.
Mid 6's and 7's seem to be my normal morning reading, and the doctor is good with that.
