Finally caught a break weather wise today. We have a stagnate air quality warning right now, but needed to get out and ride. What is more fun then riding in dense fog? Riding in dense fog and your glasses fog up. That made for some interesting riding, they would clear when I was moving, and completely fog over when I had to stop (stupid stop signs, stop lights etc.), To bad they don't have heated prescription glasses like cars have heated side view mirrors.

I know I'm late to the party, but after missing my goal in November and taking December off due to illness, I'm back. Going to start low, and hopefully bump my mileage up as the month progresses. I'm in for 75 miles - 16.7 miles done to date. Thanks again to the moderators0

death in the family- my dearly loved dog after a short but fierce battle with some type of tumor in his chest -my heart is absolutely broken! Will need to lower my goal, but can't think straight yet. I'm even crying when the coffee finishes brewing because he would bark when the pot would beep to signal brewing is complete.

I have no idea where I'm finding the time to get moving, but I am so YAY! Added 4 miles yesterday. January total 19.75 miles
Today is errand day with my 21 year old daughter before she goes back to college Saturday. I'm focusing on enjoying the time together and not giving unsolicited advice. (So much harder than I thought it would be.....the unsolicited advice part I mean).

The East Coast arctic blast weather forced me indoors. I used the indoor track after a kettle bell class, so 2.6 mile run/walk done. I actually ran two of those with just a half lap walk in between and I think at my same 10-10:30 min pace. It's definitely easier on an all flat surface instead of the outdoor paths I use, but I still prefer it outside. Tomorrow's supposed to go into the 30s so that should feel balmy.
Off to the mall for some clothes shopping and I can get some steps in. I'm happy most of my clothes are too loose, but I hate clothes shopping. I also have no idea what size I am.
