I'm getting more & more nervous to go home this weekend. It is always a huge trigger for me. I've packed up my healthy snacks and hoping that will do. I tend to go either way when I'm there, I either eat NOTHING or I eat everything. I'd prefer the nothing : / It doesn't help that I'm going home for my mom's (2nd) wedding, not thrilled. at. all. I'm feeling a lot better with these clean days and I leave for Greece in less than a month, I want to be happy with myself. Not so much with how I look, but how I feel.0 -

Been doing great since the 2nd but have lots planned this weekend, which include 2 (yes 2) road trips <<<<
Huge triggers for me. This means more eating out and more alcohol comsumption (since I'm going to a concert Fri night and a Sweet 15 Sat night). I'm being really strict this week and am trying to keep an optimistic outlook for the weekend. I've been successful at not binging on busy weekends before and can do it again. :glasses:

The hardest thing for me to overcome is my deeply ingrained habit of using food as a reward. So when I see that I'm on track, keeping to my menu plan, exercising like I should, it only takes 3 or 4 days before I begin to feel I "deserve" the only reward I know. And once I indulge a little, that switch gets flipped and I just lose it. Sometimes it feels like eating is the only thing that makes me happy, but it really just makes me miserable.0 -

Feeling much better...mostly because I haven't been restricting too much either. This week I've had two days where I've gone over calories (by 100-200. I don't count exercise calories so I have some wiggle room) and instead of having a binge when seeing the red number, I realized I was full and didn't need anymore food. This weekend away will be excellent practice. Reality is I want to get BETTER, not just thinner. Sometimes I get the two confused.0 -
