    Strength and Stretch this morning and then some Bike-Walk-Bike at home around lunch time. So the total for today is 7.69 miles.
    Feb total so far = 86.69 miles. I might just make my goal in the next two days. only need seven miles each day.

    Well this month was a bust. Lots of runs turned into walking because of nasty road conditions and ice.
    Total for the month including walks and runs 71.6 km
    I head out tomorrow for a long trip so won't be back until April.

    @spikesmom - so glad you could check in and update us. Wishing you lots of patience and strength as you continue the healing process. Keep us posted.

    As for me, I've done two more 9 mile runs this week. That's it for February. Two rest days and then I have a half marathon on Sunday to see how the training plan is working. This is far and away the most miles I have ever run in a month.

    That's pretty dang good for a treadmill. I really dislike trainers and treadmills. They work in a pinch of bad weather but I would rather ride in 20 degrees than run on a treadmill.

    I am with you there. Our roads have been so bad for riding and running the past few weeks and the drivers are just too crazy. I have been alternating on bike and treadmill at the gym. Have a couple sprint triathlons coming up in the warm weather so I got to keep working all areas. But the elliptical is a bear on my feet because they go numb and the treadmills are too high for this short frame and I am always smacking my hands into the grip bar in the front.

    Feb. 27: Ran 5 with my students today. They hated it but I got some miles in during each class. Walked 5.5 miles with work friends after school in the cold....The cold never bothered me anyway.

    34 in two days?....looks like I may need to do some cycling. Hopefully I will get 10 running miles in Saturday....still hope for the 300 mark.

    @JTH11706 All the best to you on your half marathon on Sunday. Hope you are in a warmer climate. Congrats on your great training month. You should feel really good about your effort.

    @ Janet - That's pretty dang good. You're way over your goal and you're still going strong. Good luck on the half marathon.

    24 miles added today. 283 plus 24 is 307 out of 300. Goal! This was my ride today. I would rather ride a road bike in the snow than ride indoors. :smile:

    Changed my profile picture to a view from my walk this morning. I can manage the snow on the paths at the park, but the sidewalks in my neighborhood are still pretty scary.

    Added 5 miles today. February total 71 miles. That should be enough for Green. :D Next step goal.

    18.75 miles added tonight. I don't think I'm going to get any more mileage for the month, ending my streak right here... but oh well. I'm going to keep moving even though I'm not going to have a good streak going.

    Maybe I'll be able to make it to a spin class on Saturday morning and get in those last 15.15 miles, but I'm not optimistic.
