YAY! Most of my day got canceled due to weather. I was able to run to Whole Foods. I got a nice salad and some shrimp for lunch. And a lovely salmon filet and some brussels for dinner (and some wine).

Dinner was so good...no recipe...just took healthy ingredients and put them together and voila...so good...did not finish...will have leftover for breakfast...

I had already cooked ground turkey, and eggplant...grilled the eggplant the other night. Then I made a spag squash...so I mixed those three ingredients with some Trader Joes #99 marinara...no sugar added...one stringle (orangic string cheese stick shredded) and 14 grams of parm/reg ...microplanned. Heated to bubbly goodness. Happy tummy.

I think it was the eggplant that sent it over the edge to exceptional taste. And I am so not a cook. I surprised myself tonight.

Tonight's dinner: baked salmon with soy sauce and brussels sprouts.
And I bought some sugar free fudge bars. That's unusual for me, but what the heck!

But I feel so much better...and in control.

I eat a ton. Yesterday my salmon was 8 ounces. I had two servings of brussels.
Today's salad will be HUGE And tonight's dinner with quinoa and spinach will have some kind of protein, or an egg scrambled in, probably that.

That sounds great! I bought some frozen chopped bell peppers, perhaps those should be part of my dinner tonight!

Two of my favorite phase 2 snacks: peanut butter with yogurt and sf syrup, and peanut butter dipped in sf chocolate pudding. Looking forward to those soon.

Yum...your two favs sound delish. I just had my crunchy...pefectly toasted Ezekiel...I made the personal choice of using butter instead of the other stuff out there...I just really watch how much...I do use a food scale, religiously on stuff like that. Today, measured out 7 grams on the nose first time out...that makes me smile...a little game I play.

Tomorrow instead of scrambled eggs...easy over...great for dipping that bread.

I lost two pounds on P1. I changed my goal back to something more realistic. So, for now, 20 to go. I am happy...thanks again, Sabine, for your help and support...super job on all the tips and links.

I went back and logged yesterday, just to be sure. I ate around 1,450 calories.

I lost 4, then 5, then 4 on phase 1. 2 to go. :) (It really was a good tune up for me).
I plan to stay on phase 2 until those 2 lbs are gone, which could take eons!

Congrats on the 2LBS! That's excellent! (remember, I'm younger and not done with stupid menopause yet)

I could have sworn I posted about my apple.

Anyway, had it for snack a bit ago...small honey crisp. Sweet and crisp...no a hint of mushy-ness. Very happy. And except for when I eat bananas alone and not in a smoothie, fruit does not set me off ... no cravings.

I will probably add my HC fudge bar for the end of the night. It is really my big treat of the day...besides the yogurt and jam.

Apples and berries don't bother me at all. But yes, bananas sometimes make me feel famished later.
