Today's eggs...easy over...so good...and I loved my toast. Happy tummy...off to work...having leftovers for lunch and an apple. Love P2...fruit and toast...life is good!
It's the little things. I discovered today that a little place near work has fabulous salads!

Yay! And your DH is coming home tonight? Your life is especially good!

    Indeed! He's back this evening.
We went to a "creole" place and I had some shrimp. The sauce was *probably* pretty good. I did my best. When we got home I had some almonds and some cheese. And a glass of yummy sauvignon blanc.
All in all a pretty goo P2 day.

    Good morning!

Well the scale had another itty bitty (as expected) tick down. I expected it to tick up with the added carbs, but it's still heading every so slightly down. That made me happy.

    Today's plan:
B: Green smoothie with goji berries that hubs brought back
    S: string cheese or almonds
L: salad with chicken and avocado from Which which again
    S: kumquats
D: good question! something stir fried over a little brown rice I suspect

GM Sabine and lurkers...the scale for me went down a pound...but official day is Sunday...so we shall see... (*)

    Today's Plan (subject to change)

B: eggs, toast and butter, V8
    S: green smoothie
L: grilled chicken, eggplant, asparagus, spaghetti squash, marinara, parm/regg, English cuke rounds
    S: yogurt, nuts, jam
    D: veggie burger lettuce wrap
    D: HC bar, pistachios

Just finished 40 minutes on my pedal pal ... feel great. Going to make it a great day!

Thanks Sabine...it was good...I forgot but there was a mozza stick in there...shredded so when I heated it up at work, it got all hot and bubbly and nice. The cukes were for a little something fresh and crisp on the side.

Today has been a perfect day...food wise and exercise wise. I have figured out a way, with the help of a friend, to keep my little pedal machine from moving forward...so now, I sit in my sit and fit chair (or whatever the heck it is called)...set up my pedal machine ...put a box with 6 - gallon bottles of water in front of it and I have made my very own recumbent bike.

Life is good. Hope you had a super duper Pilates class today. See everyone tomorrow...stay warm all you peeps in the line of the never ending snow fall.

Today I am roasting a turkey breast...that is far as I am thinking...well, breakfast and snack will be the same.

I am on auto pilot with a few things...it helps to simplify (and boy do I love that)...I like my morning choices a lot...especially my crunchy Ezekiel toast with butter...only 7 grams now...and yep, I do measure...but I so savor every bite!

I follow breakfast with a morning snack of green smoothie...using Sabine's zipp fizz trick which means no added fruit at this time...saving my fruit for my apple...which I apparently am required to share with one little four legged furry best friend.

More later. Life is good when you stick to your plan...have a great day everyone!

Glad you figured out how to make your recumbent work!

I'm up, early, but too sleepy to run, so I'm going to save that for mid day at work.
Things are going well for me too. You're right about autopilot. That really helps.
I do the green smoothie for breakfast, easy and portable snacks, and a salad with protein or something simple for lunch, then dinner is the only thing I really have to worry about!
Last night it was mapo tofu over a half a cup or brown rice. YUM.

Hope you find your stride, later in the day, Sabine.

Wouldn't u know it...went to make breakfast, out of eggs. Duh.

Changing things up a bit today...but still easy. Luckily I have the veggie patties in the freezer. Phew.

I woke up feeling a bit tired, but ok...and ran into this message...Celebrate the journey and not just the grades...so decided to stay off the scale. I feel better, my clothes feel better...I am looking forward to getting in some pedal time early...and that stupid scale might say something to take away all those good feelings so I am staying OFF!

    Have a great weekend everyone!

Sorry for the silence! I've been swamped at work. Blech. BUT, I've been good. I've been eating according to my plan. Last night was a dinner out for work. I had grilled salmon and roasted vegetables and a nice glass of wine.
I'm in a meeting all weekend, AGAIN. But should be able to eat my way then as well.
    Cheers!

    You kept it going!!
    I'm so impressed and happy!

I did pretty well, but when camping, and traveling eating with others it a challenge!
But, you saw my steps. We were moving.Got 20k BEFORE we got in the car to drive the 6 hours home. Breakfasts and snacks were fine. Some dinners were fine. Some were out of my control.

    I did pretty well.
Hubs did well, but regardless he declared "boot camp tmw".
I said: okay: protein, veg, and fruit (he loves his fruit).
I'll do protein, veg and wine (I love my wine).
I love when he's there too!
So, tomorrow: protein veg and wine for me
protein veg and fruit for hubs.

    Cheers!
