    I'm back home!
    Yesterday:
    B: egg and cheese
    S: string cheese
L: Salmon caesar salad no crutons
    S: wine for the flight
    D: steak caesar salad

    Today:
    B: green smoothie!!!!
    S: string cheese
L: black soybeans with pico de gallo (whole can)
    S: pistachios
    D: we'll see.

Very happy to be back at it. So far it looks like I've lost between 3 and 4 pounds. I'm just a couple of pounds from my favorite weight, but if I keep losing I'd be perfectly happy with that. it would be nice to be BELOW my favorite weight for a change. I don't predict that will happen however.
And now I begin week two more or less.

Hello!! Glad to see you are both doing so well - even over the weekend!! Me...not so much. Our kids and grandchild were here for the weekend and so things didn't go as planned. I ate carbs...lots of carbs, but I still feel pretty good. I'm supposed to start Phase 2 today. I'm going to do a Phase 1 1/2 this week and add some fruit just because I love it and I believe it will keep me from going insane. I'm going to try really hard to stay away from the potatoes, pasta, bread stuff!! I'm not weighing myself until Sunday March 1st. Thanks for the support - you guys ROCK!

Dinner was funny, in the end. Neither hubs nor I had any energy. So we had water stir fried broccoli and cauliflower with a home made cheese sauce.
Lunch was not soybeans, but was a very hot (it was freezing out) chicken vegetable soup.

Did you make it through the evening?

I did. And this is how...I took my snacks with me...was already having my fudge bar...took the tea and baby bels just in case...and the kitchen was closed. Got out my ipad...played trivia crack, candy crush and backgammon til I got sleepy. Had the two baby bels and fell asleep.

I have a few areas in which I stuggle...sleep is one of them. Falling asleep without eating had been hard before the reboot. Now, I am pushing some of the acceptable food to the end of the evening ...does this make any sense.

I did weigh this morning...and I was down another pound...official weigh in is Sunday. So I am thrilled. I know things are happening...slowly...but still. The best thing is I feel so much better. And even with some stress about--who doesn't have stress--...(moving May 1st)...I am sticking to the plan.

In fact, I think the reboot is allowing me to deal with the stress much better.

Ive been trying to have something "carbier" at night. If you research it, a carby snack before bed, there's lots of research to suggest it helps.

Lovely! That reminds me, with hubs gone I should stop and get a trout or a salmon filet. He hates fish. WONDERFUL idea.

ps: I bumped up a couple of SB diet threads on the main boards and directed SBers here.

I am no longer putting every morsel in the plan on my diary...first of all..way too time consuming and second of all...and second of all...way too time consuming...ok, also, for me...has not and does not make a difference. I just need my menu planned. I know amounts.

I have used a food scale since starting SB in 2008...have the same one. So I measure stuff that must be measured.

I see this as a huge plus...very liberating. Well, for sure going to do this for the four days remaining...and then will continue posting here as well as in my notes portion of my menu.

Today's green smoothie I used the dark leafy greens from costco...not just spinach. Did not have any more spinach and I think it is good to mix up the greens a bit.

Definitely not as tasty. But, Sabine, I finally have the routine down as to how to make it so it is not just a a container full of foam. :o

On my way to the store to get some supplies...I must say that since the reboot, I wake up feeling so much better each day. The scale is not breaking any records...but I do see a progression in the right way, down!

Thanks so much for keeping this going, Sabine. I had left the site for awhile and this group...but so very happy being back and along side you and now Michelle. Hope others join us.

A few things that are making me happy...have been having yogurt every day...% Fage, skim milk (not a fan of almond milk) and beans. And I have cut way back on using fake sugars...still have my Healthy Choice fudge bar...but I think that's it. I am using jam but not sugar free...but sweetened with fruit juice.

Every once and a while...sf gum and mints. But that's it. No more splenda. I guess there is some kind of sweetener in the zip fizz...ok...but THAT'S IT!

Day off tomorrow....will get to Costco early to have my green smoothie before 11. Had to have some almonds to get me to dinner...or I guess lunch...I do not have dinner on Tuesday and Thursday until 10...my work schedule is wacky.

Your menu looked great...I have broccoli in the fridge...need to use it up before it goes bad. Have it in a green bag.

I'm trying to figure today out.
I'm having green smoothie now. Then back to back meetings (might even miss Pilates, which, given my bruises from the fall would be good), and I can't figure out how or what to have for lunch.
    I LOVE spaghetti squash!

Hope you can get a good soak tonight to you some relief. And TLC from you sweet husband. My green drink today...well it tastes like grape soda. LOL

Found the Hemp at Costco...picked up exactly what I needed...nothing more. It is very slow going...but it is going.
