Another Jump Rope for Heart event over after one snow day cancellation. Five hours of non stop jumping rope and kids sweating their heads off. We broke a new fundraising record. Final total not in but we are over $21,000.00. Note to me: Jumping rope for a long time is no longer good for my knee now that a chunk of it is gone...lol. Did manage to do some stationary biking and hopefully our high 30's due here tomorrow will allow me to get a good outdoor run in.
March 6: 15 Miles - 5 walking and jumping and 10 cycling

Felt some better today and went for a little longer, little faster walk. The sun and 40F felt great and couldn't help myself from breaking into 3 or 4 really slow trots on a couple of the flat-to-slightly-downhill sections. Pushing my luck a little but I think I'll be okay. I didn't ever do it long or fast enough to breathe too hard.
Felt great.

Did my first group club ride today. What a beautiful sunny warm day for it. Cold to start out, but nice warm finish. Definitely going to do it again. Nice way to end the calendar week

Only managed 1.5 miles today around work and necessary errands. Oh well, tomorrow is another chance.
March total 21 miles. Still ahead of the curve for now.
@anaconda I'm glad the club ride went well. I love solitude, but it is nice to be with a group sometimes too.
I'm glad you're feeling better Dave and not trying to push it too hard. Scarfe I hope you are feeling better soon too. This crazy weather has a lot of us fighting illness or nagging pain and injuries. Listen to your body and take it easy if you need to. When you are better, (and only when you are better) then Get out there and Get It Done.
