    I can't believe I just did this....again.
Lost my post by not paying attention.
Wasn't anything important, except maybe to say I did my laundry today, and its washed, dried, folded, hung, etc AND put away! WOO-HOO!!
Also went to the gym, and my steps were met by 5p. So, I'll be a couple hundred over, yesterday it was more than 1000 steps over. May be time to up my goals??? hmmm

Sorry you're getting a lot of rain Roger, especially since you didn't get your lawn cut pre rain. Its gonna GROW...
oh, my.... (happens to me at least once a summer, sometime several more times).

Ed...I think I'll leave my portion of the Eggplant stew for J! :) Doesn't read like something I'd like...toooo much tomato, questionable on the eggplant..and then potatoes??

I see they fined Serena Williams $17,000 for her outburst. If thats not a sexist mess I don't know what is...thinking of McEnroe, (often labeled the 'bad boy of tennis) and several other men who were little holy terrors on the court. I don't believe they got those kinds of fines etc.

    We women still have a L O N G way to go.

    Hi

I'm back home from not walking so no cents. The Temperature outside the door was 58 degrees.
I am getting ready to have my first sip of coffee.

Why no walking ? Sore Knee, I did not see a Rock in the rain and the less than perfect vision from the hoodie and when I stepped on that rock, that was all she wrote, Scraped one knee, banged up the other one worse. I shall live to walk another day, I decided that with the soreness I would take a couple of days off from walking. Next Time I go that way I plan to throw that darned rock where I can not do that again as I do go that way approximately every three days.

Howdy all y'all. It's magnificent Monday! 71 with an expected high of 83 and 60% chance of precipitation. I feel drained and want to go back to bed, but need to get breakfast for me and then for the cats.

Feels about like normal progression for a cold/virus though.

Howdy all y'all. It's sumptuous Sunday! 70 with an expected high of 88 and 40% chance of precipitation. Gordon may be making its way here.

Need to clean yesterday's cat bowls and feed the cats their breakfast. Sink is clear. Dishwasher doesn't need to run this morning, as it did last night.

    Need a nap.
    Hello Ed
It rained all day Sunday once it started, a light rain but it never really went away...
Then I could hear it hitting the window AC and as I look out the window there is still a light rain falling.

My mind has a funny way of looking at things that You may have noticed in the past.
So here goes, Dishwashers have legs and they go for runs
I haven't eaten saltwater taffy in years. I'm afraid now that it might pull out fillings or pull off crowns. LOL.
I must be lucky, a couple of fillings and no crowns...
My brother ships Saltwater Taffy and other foods Such as certain smoked fish that a friend of his out by Kansas can not get locally. We Freeze the Pork Roll, Wrap it and use Priority Mail.
My mother used to make the best apple butter. I love it on cinnamon raisin toast.
Either I got a bad jar from CostCo or that is an acquired taste, I do not know ?

They were $14 and change, but pseudoephedrine is semi-controlled. I think people can use it as an ingredient in the process of making crystal meth, so they always take a copy of your driver's license and someone keeps track of that so they know who's buying it and how much of it they are buying, and how often.
Once You mention that it jogged my memory and I did recall hearing that it is tracked. Not a favorite thing of mine getting into another database.

Been there done that, sometimes, maybe 50% I can recover by hitting Ctrl Z AKA Undo on the edit menu.

Good Going with the Laundry and Steps

It is what it is, I'd like to have mowed yesterday or today, the rain more or less precludes that however :(

I will say it was a display that did not set a good example. OTOH We both agree that it was excessive, My brothers comment was they fined her for breaking her own racket ? If She had caused damage to the surface that would be different, I did not see any damage nor was any mentioned.
Playing the devils advocate, possibly the fines and such were caused by McEnroe's Tantrums in the past ?

    Have a Good Day

Ed, hope you're feeling better tomorrow. I hate colds...
Oh Roger, Sorry about your knees..Wise of you to not walk for several days. I'd have to say a 'blessing' directly to the rock before I threw it over to the next county!! At least you didn't face plant, did you? I'm going to assume the answer to that is no!
Good homemade apple butter is tasty. Mom's church ladies used to set aside one Saturday in apple season, and apples were peeled, cored, and cut up a bit, and cooked outdoors in a big kettle. I never attended one of these Applebutter days...and I'm so thankful!...

Oh, my garbage disposal broke last night...one of the grinder thingys broke off...caused a lot of racket, and vibrations! So, Antonio picked up a disposal and installed that, and then hung my kitchen cabinet! So nice to have it back again. Tomorrow afternoon I will move my dishes back into the kitchen, and no doubt continue to walk over to the table they've been resting on for a very long time.

    And now....I'm off to bed.

    Hi Valerie
Sad to say I sort of Face Planted, top of head to curb, Two Staples worth on top of my head. Not to worry our family has hard heads and the Catscan was good indicating no problems. I don't think I have had a Catscan before, MRI on my knee many years ago OTOH. Fortunately between Medicare and Plan F for the supplemental I should not have incurred any expense. First real use of either beyond doctor visits and eye doctor. In and out fairly quickly at the emergency room since it was early Sunday. FWIW Worst pain was some stiffness in the one knee.

They are not supposed to break :(

    Hi
I'm back home from walking no cents. The Temperature out the door was 72 degrees, It is dry outside. However the Humidity is high and can be seen as a haze in the air or maybe a light fog. Either way it was no fun walking.
While I was walking I did see two Deer run across the road 2.5 blocks from the house on the outbound leg.
I Did remove the rock I had tripped over, I suspect that I did not see it when it was wet from the rain as it was a black rock on dark ground and likely blended in with the low light from that nearby parking lot not illuminating it well.

    Hello Ed
Yesterday's high was around 80+, I should have mowed and not let my brother talk me out of it as this morning it is not good out there.
Self heating instant Chinese hot pot?
Why not, when the power was out from Superstorm Sandy the Red Cross was handing out self heating meal. That looks like Lotus Root on the left side FWIW.
Meal prep - Breakfast for the week.
Breakfast for the week, Something I never bothered with, I did however prepare things for the weeks lunches for my last job. I also went lazy some weeks and picked up Lunches using foods from the Grocery Store Hot food bar, and freeze them. The Best were when they had Ribeye Steaks there along with sauteed onions and bacon, I love Steak with either of those. Next best were Sweet Italian Sausage, not to mention Pork Chops and Ribs
    Home made French dressing.
Since I like the store bought I think I will pass on making my own.
Well, the sink in the master bathroom is clogged again.
I like that, Good sense of humor and creativity.
