Good Morning!
Roger glad you gave that rock the heave ho!! Evil ole rock! I've skimmed thru today's posts, and saw one from Roger from yesterday that I completely missed.
Today my calendar is FREE from outside influences!!! Meaning that all the crud I've been putting off is gonna come along and kick my butt! I've started removing wallpaper (two layers), to be followed by Antonio putting white glossy subway tiles on the kitchen walls. (which he says he can do in one day??) WOW, if thats true! I offered to let my DIL Jenn come join in the fun, but she declined!! LOL!..she did suggest that vinegar in the water I use to loosen the wallpaper will help. I'd wondered about that yesterday...so today's section will give it a try.
There are advantages to having a hard head...but not for having a thick skull!!!!
Oh, I also remember seeing that you picked raspberries....that's amazing...They must be an ever bearing type???
Ed I'm guessing your doc's visit was a good visit, and no surprises... My time for annual check up is coming up in about 3 weeks...I 'should' be ok. I can't think of any other thing she may try to frighten me into doing. Although it does seem that 'others' like my Chiro are trying to do...Need to get your knees done, or if that rotator cuff slips out again I think you should see someone about fixing it...(smells like surgery to me...so nope)
I still haven't watched the video's Ed...so that is on my radar as well.
Waiting to see if we end up getting rain from Florence...for awhile it looked like it was going to curve south as well as north...If it hits the GA mountains around the TN line those people could be in a world of hurt.
I want to get into the back yard today with the weed wacker...also want to purchase a roll of red tape. I intend to tag things that need to be cut back for when my son comes over next time...So much to do in my little yard. I sorta let that slip under the radar....!bad gardener! Baadddddd!
I'm dressed for going t the gym....so I think that's a big hint as to what I'm doing next......
Later...0 -
Fun, fun...went to brush my teeth...and I have no water.....So hopped into my car, and yep, workmen with huge backhoe digging, ripping up concrete driveway....the guys said it will be 4-6 hours til water returns.
Gwinnett county has a great little info thingy on line...suggesting how to get the air out of my water lines, etc.
I see a trip to the gym to potty, (and yes to take my walk, eat my lunch which is in the refrigerator waiting to be heated, etc. So, not much going on...'maybe a nap' LOL!!!

Hi
I'm back home from walking no cents. The Temperature out the door was 66 degrees. The Humidity is down, When I got up and looked out the living room window I could see stars in a nice clear sky, When I was ready to leave the stars had disappeared behind clouds that had moved in.

Need to clean up yesterday's cat bowls and feed this morning's (and every morning's) cats. Might do a bit of laundry but might not. A nap is in order as I didn't sleep all that well last night. Also hope to go and get the first round of the new and improved Shingles vaccine today, as I got the prescription for it yesterday at my doctor's office. All my blood tests looked pretty good.
Yikes, 94 degrees in the middle of September, Our normal highs are supposed to be in the mid 70s this time of year here.
Shingles from what I have read and heard is not the good to have
To the Good I did do laundry yesterday, Washed, Dried, Folded and not yet put away and The socks need to be
sorted as they all look alike but have two different lengths, Oh well.parityanimal wrote: »This is a pasta bowl I could really get into. You don't have to hit me with something more than once before I look for a cure.
The ones I picked were from the one of two types that were planted. They Bear later than the early variety, pause and then Produce again.
Tiling can be a fairly quick process, the delay comes while the Thinset or whatever is used dries enough to apply Grout. I have seen some interesting Backsplashes on some of the House flipping shows. I wondered if Florence would bother the Atlanta Metro area, Last nights news it looked like You might get the fringe of it.
We either need to get an outside outlet for the electric Weed Whacker to avoid dropping an extension cord out the window or get a gas power one. Hard to Keep those blood sucking Mosquitoes out of the house with the screen and windows open to drop out a power cord.
Tagging the plants to be cut back makes sense to me.GardenKatGardens wrote: »Fun, fun...went to brush my teeth...and I have no water.....So hopped into my car, and yep, workmen with huge backhoe digging, ripping up concrete driveway....the guys said it will be 4-6 hours til water returns.

It could be worse, Look at the town of Hoboken here in NJ, It is also well known for being the birthplace and hometown of American singer Frank Sinatra.
And lately infamous for water main breaks.

I am preparing to head out the door for a Flu Shot and staples removal, All two of them. Do they use them as quicker and easier than stitches I wonder ? It was a one use stapler that is not reloadable.

Howdy all y'all. It's satisfying Saturday! 78 with an expected high of 91 and 30% chance of precipitation. If there is any, I expect it won't be snow...
J had thought today was going to be cooler than yesterday but I don't know that 91 is all that much cooler. We have his sister and a cousin visiting but J and I have a pool party. They are going to a flea market and doing some other shopping.
Beans are not in the oven as this one is being done entirely by the hosts, and there will be donations for a charity.
Need to clean up yesterday's cat bowls.

Yesterday was not to bad outdoors. Today on my return home I opened a window in the Dining Room, back of the house. And the Inside door so that I can get fresh air inside from the Screened Front porch.
When I was really Young I thought that they sold Fleas at a Flea Market and wondered what They were used for
I'm sure You will enjoy the pool party.parityanimal wrote: »$1 street food around the world.parityanimal wrote: »Corn on the cob around the world.parityanimal wrote: »Testing Australian and American snack foods for the first time.

Howdy all y'all. It's sumptuous Sunday! 72 with an expected high of only 78 and 70% chance of precipitation. Since the same forecast says we're currently experiencing a rain shower, I can't say why it doesn't say 100% chance.
On the other hand, it's not actually raining at our house, despite the report saying that it is, so maybe the 70% is accurate for us.
I think M and F are leaving today to go back to Kentucky, and if so there will be laundry to accomplish. The party yesterday was nice. M and F went flea marketing (but didn't buy any fleas) and then sight seeing while J and I were at the party.
Need to clean up yesterday's cat bowls and feed today's STARVING cats.

Its noon...I've gotten not much done. So, its Hello Its Sunday, and see you later today. Even watched Big Red, the Cajun guy. (I don't usually) The french dressing caught my eye. I remember making that. I also watched the video's I've missed up to the 13th. Its a start.
I've cleaned one bathroom,(I have two) unloaded the bottom half of the dishwasher, top half needed some air drying time, etc..so my day is going in halves.
Nate's La Crosse game is at 3:30...and at least half hour to get there...so, something to eat before I go, shower, gym, and the other 'halfs' needs to all be done.. Wish me luck.
Oh, I ate my banana, and Tom E. has been fed. Sorry to hear your sink was clogged up Ed...however it is the cutest clog I think I've ever seen! She's a sweety!
Roger, thanks for explaining to me how you're still eating raspberries.......and so much more, just not right this minute!
Later...0
