Hi!
Watching a little bit of the news, then leaving for Lawrenceville to my hearing aid guy! This appt was made months ago.., and I feel comfortable driving there...so off I will go in just about 30 minutes.
Ted sent me a Text....would I like him to come out Saturday, and we make a grocery run! Well, sure! I was surprised he'd offer to come out day and a half after he left. But touched that he'd think of it so soon!
Looks like today will be gray...and then days and days of rain...like more than a week of it. Maybe 10 days? I sure hope not!
Would I eat calamari from Dollar Tree? Nope! I would not EAT pretty much anything from Dollar Tree. Maybe chips or other bagged, name brand chip type snacks.. Just me.
Later...

Hi
I'm back home from walking and 2 corroded pennies were found. The Temperature out the door was 36 degrees.

For some reason, this recipe for VEGAN biscuits and VEGETARIAN sausage gravy calls for vegan "butter" for the biscuits, but then (maybe because the "sausage" isn't vegan anyway?) calls for just butter for the gravy.
While I heartily agree with that particular choice of "sausage" for taste and texture, I believe one could make an actual vegan gravy just about as good with oil and vegan "beef" crumbles, with the addition of some seasoning and spices used in sausage.
I use oil for my gravy anyway. Also, most chefs seem to think a proper roux should be equal parts fat and flour, and this recipe breaks that rule too. Not that I have a problem with that. I break cooking rules all the time!
Another Day another post
That is weird, as You imply why not just use butter for the biscuits too, a bit strange.
There is nothing wrong with changing a recipe to suit Your taste. I suspect that both of us here break the rules some of the time. The inability to change things is a bad sign.parityanimal wrote: »Kids Try Valentine's Day Food From Around The Worldparityanimal wrote: »COCOA POD - How to Open & Eat a Cacao Pod

As long as You feel comfortable driving there why not. Is this a routine followup / adjust type appointment ?

Howdy all y'all. It's satisfying Saturday! 12C/53F with an expected high of 17C/61F and 20% chance of precipitation.
I have all the usual stuff and we also need to get out this afternoon to get a few things done.
Dinner last night was at Salata, during the grand opening of the latest location, here in Peachtree Corners. Salad is the star there.

Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was 28 degrees. I did see a small herd of deer 6 or 7 of them ahead of me crossing a street near the house.

Hi Valerie0 -
Howdy y'all. It's sumptuous Sunday! 9C/48F with an expected high of 10C/50F and 90$ chance of precipitation.
I may go to a memorial service this afternoon but really don't want to go anywhere. Too darn many people dying!
