    Good Afternoon Ed!
Late getting up this morning, and my floors are now done, as is my yoga class. I'm eating my lunch and plotting my next move. Thinking I may put a load of laundry in and then head for my nap while it washes?? or maybe just a nap? Meanwhile as I eat I'm going to watch Grandma and see what this white and green concoction she's made for us today!

Hope you have a good day, a walk perhaps? I have a fall Camellia just covered in white blossoms that have pink/red ruffled edges. (picotee). This is the best job of blooming I've ever seen on this tree! I also have a bright red camellia that blooms during the winter, and another that ushers in Spring..its pink.

Howdy all y'all. It's sumptuous Sunday! We are expecting another glorious, clear fall day in Peachtree Corners.

I need to take J's car out for a spin, and may stop at a grocery along the way. Nothing critical on the list though, so it may just be a spin.

Howdy all y'all. It's magnificent Monday! It is supposed to be a partly cloudy, fairly cool day with a high of 74.

I may need to pick up a prescription at Publix, but will wait until notified that it's ready.

    Hey Ed!
I dared not to look at the selection of videos, or I'll miss my TaiChi class this morning.
Day looks pleasantly busy. I made a really good bowl of soup last night starting with a block of noodles and adding some broth and veggies from the crisper drawer of the refrigerator. Start with what ya got...right? It was not only filling, but it warmed me up. I was cold all day yesterday.
A couple of Mike's pix may just turn up on my fb page today...that sneaky little duck for one. LOL!!
All the Swiss Chard is now gone, but the little row of peas that I planted because I wanted some pea sprouts for my salads are still there? Maybe whatever is eating at my dine-in deli is waiting for some more growth? I dunno.
So, I may have pea sprouts and garlic....ummmm. or maybe not!!!

Hope you get a walk in today! It's really walking weather the last week or so.

Howdy all y'all. It's terrific Tuesday! And it's another beautiful sunny day in Peachtree Corners.

Not much on the agenda today, though I am (probably) expecting a wine delivery.

Today's "fruit juice" delivery. It's fermented, but it's still fruit juice!

18 bottles of nice (presumably) red wine, 3 bottles each of:

    Andaravio Tempranillo/Bobal, 2019
    Castillo Del Moro Tempranillo/Syrah, 2019
    Cape Red, 2019
    Alabar Tinto, 2019
    Tucana Cabernet Sauvignon/Pinotage, 2019
    Atico Tempranillo/Monastrell, 2019

    Hi Ed!
Heading out for a nap I hope....I just bent over to put some papers in the trash can and the entire world began spinning totally out of control. What a sickening feeling that is. I've done 2 video workouts this morning, and made a really tasty tofu scramble for lunch. Now I just want to take a nap. Ted's at work, will be home probably around midnight.
I'm doing much better now, the spinning seems to have stopped. So, I think I shall very carefully make like a turtle and head for my room.

    Enjoy your fruit juice! LOL!

Howdy all y'all. It's wonderful Wednesday! It will be a bit warmer today, but is still supposed to be sunny and clear.

I have been up since before 5:30, thanks to a leg cramp. But once I got up and moving a bit, it seems to have eased off.

Dinner last night was spicy yellow rice, next to cheesy refried beans, with fried eggs on top of both. My eggs were sunny side up, and J's were broken, over hard. J had salsa as well, but I had mine without. Folding bites together that had egg, beans, and rice in each bite came through deliciously.

I need to complete this home A1c test kit and send it in. I've never seen one like this before. There are 5 small circles on a small card, and I am apparently suppose to saturate each circle with blood, and the drops cannot overlap. It seems like I am filling out a test answer sheet or questionnaire except with blood, instead of a black blue pen. And I have to fill in all the circles instead of just one.

Prior tests have involved a small drop of blood wicked into a bottle of solution that is then sent back. I hope I can get enough blood out of one finger to fill all 5 circles! I don't think I will pass out from loss of blood or anything, but it does seem excessive.

Well, I will get to that when I am a bit more awake.

The grocery list is already growing again, which is no surprise, but nothing has gone critical.

Well, following their instructions definitely got the blood flowing. It was a task to get it to stop then, long enough to quickly get the little adhesive bandage stuck on it. Must remember that a good shake of the hands, and standing to keep them below the heart, REALLY gets the blood flowing to the fingers.

I got all their silly circles filled and now have to let it dry for 30 minutes, and then package it up and send it back.

Howdy all y'all. It's fantastic Friday! It's very sticky out there at the moment, with 100% humidity, but should become more pleasant later and we are expecting a warm, partly cloudy day.

We had our first actual delivery of groceries yesterday. I had just recently gone to the store and J wanted something badly enough to put together an order of items via Amazon Fresh. This order was placed on Wednesday, and we COULD have requested delivery late Wednesday evening, but J chose Thursday morning, between 10:00 and 12:00 noon. At about 10:30 I saw the delivery on the camera, and brought it in. There was a bit of junk food, but I suppose J balanced that with the shredded wheat cereal and the Del Monte cherry fruit cups, packed in 100% fruit juice.

The Reese's cups were an item I would have left out, unless SPECIFICALLY requested, on any of my trips, and are part of why I am usually the one in charge of the groceries. J has a tendency to toss in more junk food, apparently even on line!

To be fair, I have been working my way through a box of pumpkin Pop Tarts, a seasonal treat that I can't resist. And of course Kroger puts it right in your face in a separate display that is in the way, so you can't miss them.

I do think there is overkill with the pumpkin SPICE in the fall, but I do like real pumpkin. And of course I have no issues with pumpkin spice when there is actually pumpkin (or at least some kind of hard squash) in the treat.

I don't really care for the idea of pumpkin spice tossed in willy nilly, into things like frosted flakes, Cheerios, baked goods that don't contain pumpkin (just the spice) and am on the fence regarding pumpkin spice coffee.

Come to it, they also seem to go nuts tossing pumpkin into things where it seems a bit weird to me, like salsa.

Oh well, it IS a fall vegetable, and it's actually good for us, so I guess I shouldn't complain. All the same, I will limit my pumpkin intake and my pumpkin spice intake as well. Most of it is baked goodies I don't need to eat anyway. I am fond of a good, rich, pumpkin cake, and of course pumpkin pie. And I LOVE pumpkin (or butternut squash) bisque as a starter for a meal.

I guess I need to get started on my day. I had baked chicken for breakfast, along with one pumpkin Pop Tart. The other one from that foil pack will, no doubt, find its way into me later today.

Howdy all y'all. It's sticky Saturday! Humidity is 100% right now, and while it will be a nice enough morning, the forecast is calling for evening showers.

Cable internet is down right now, so I'll be keeping an eye on that. I am using my phone as a mobile hotspot for a bit.

I may get some laundry started.

    Hi Ed
Made a trip to the hospital, Northside. I am still a bit wobbly on my feet. I'm hoping its just because I have't eaten in 3 days. Just finished a bowl of soup and a few crackers. Hope that stays put too!
Right now I think its sleep time.

I am glad you are back home. Hopefully this will all get better soon. The food at Northside is ... edible, technically, but you can be sure you'll be better off eating at home rather than staying there for any length of time.

    And...

Howdy all y'all. It's sumptuous Sunday! We are expecting it to be partly cloudy and cool today. I need to take J's car out for a weekend run to keep it active. Might take mine for a longer run than it's been getting too.

Dinner/supper was yummy and I have three or four more nice meals coming from the pot roast.

And I might actually get the laundry into the washer today. Right now I hear my pot of tea gurgling so I think I need to get to making my breakfast.

Howdy all y'all. It's magnificent Monday! It should be a cool, cloudy day here. It's funny how, coming out of summer, a high of 70 seems cool, yet coming out of winter, a high of 70 would sound warm. Different seasons, different perspective.

I have some laundry that needs to be folded.

    Hey Ed!
Its me, Ole Dizzy! Much improved, not 100% yet. Did have soup for last todays, but today I woke from my nap...(I nap all day now) and I was hungry! So, with Ted's help I had a small baked potato, stuffed with steamed broccoli, and mushroom soup poured over the whole mess. It was delicious! :)

I don't feel like I should be driving yet...so am at home. But mostly I sleep. Probably, my brain is trying to figure out what the heck is wrong with my gyroscope!!! Ted and I laugh about how I weave and lurch when I walk...like I was on an extended bender!!!

Hope all is well at your house. News/ weather says we're gonna get wet..about 4 inches of wet about Wednesday, I think. (Hurricane Zeta will hopefully end the season. For sure we're all out of names!!). Whatever, have your bumbershoot ready along with your boots. Or, just stay home and dry!!

Howdy all y'all. It's terrific Tuesday! It's a bit warmer today, and there's a good chance of overnight rain. Marco's had a 50% off sale, one day only, yesterday, so I picked up pizza for our dinner.

They were celebrating the opening of their 1,000th store somewhere with the one day sale. I could have had it delivered, but accidentally ordered for pick up, which ended up saving time and money, as the restaurant isn't far and it was ready within 20 minutes of ordering. No delivery fee and no driver tip required! I did put a few dollars in the tip jar on the counter though.

The sign in the window said that the dining room was open for seating, but I didn't see anyone seated. There was another customer waiting for his order to be prepared for pick up, or maybe he was the delivery driver. I am not sure. Another customer drove up as I was leaving, and the manager was on the phone taking an order when I arrived, so I think the sale was popular!

So breakfast was, of course, leftover pizza and lunch will be the same, with perhaps a side salad.

I got the laundry all folded and put away yesterday, and may spend some time organizing the grocer list today to see if I have enough accumulated on it to place a pick up or delivery order. Nothing has reached critical level though, so there is no hurry.

    Good Morning Ed!
I saw your post where you thought I was behind on the video's..boy am I ever. Let me tell you there is NOTHING fun about Benign Positional Vertigo!! I couldn't read, walk, keep food or even tea down, I did excel at sleeping though!
The ER Doc was great. So was my entire visit. No visitors allowed, so poor Ted got to sit in his car in the pouring rain for about 4 hours. I really owe that kid for that one! I didn't get fed, but I did get a nice bag of fluid dripped into my arm. They ran blood tests, some vision tests, asked a million and two questions...and then in came Dr. Chandler! He did the Epley maneuver, and that pretty much stopped the dizziness! That was Saturday night...by last night I could say all the dizzies were gone and I'm just weak and out of balance. It's Tuesday, and even the balance is improving. I'm going to attempt a shower later today I hope. It's been more days than I want to count since a shower and shampoo! YUCKIE!!!

Ok, I'm about to make my way to my room, and try to do a bit of tidying work on the bedside table and my bed and bathroom sink. Stuff is just sorta everywhere.

I think your Jason and my Ted when he was a little guy had the same sweet tooth. (not that I don't mind you)..going to school and 2 boys, and house, and yard..it was a bit much! So one nite I was grousing about having to pack a lunch for the next day at school, and this sweet little child said he'd fix my lunch....and I let him! (What was I thinking?)...Jimmy and I would take turns bringing lunch for both of us...I opened the bag and Jimmy and I had chips, and cookies, and candy etc for lunch that day!!! Never again! LOL!!

Take care that damn virus is on it upward swing again...Oh, I wore a mask to the ER, and they offered me one of theirs! Talk about a really NICE disposable mask!! Soft paper, easy to breathe thru, etc. really special!! Anyhow, wear your mask, wash your hands and stay home! I'm sorta self isolating. Pretty much my bedroom and bath and the dining room table...though I did manage to make my own breakfast this morning! First self cooked breakfast in a week!

Howdy all y'all. It's wonderful Wednesday! It's warm and foggy now and the rain chance will increase as the day moves on. A great day to not go anywhere and possibly have a nice, afternoon nap. I am sure I can find something to do in the interval between now and nap time.

Supper last night was rather uninspired. I think Eduardo took the night off. I did use up some vegetables, dicing up a bell pepper, a large potato, one small zucchini, one and one small yellow squash and frying them all up together. Then a nice handful of Mexican style shredded cheese on each serving. It tasted good enough, but just uninspired.

Then we watched Hocus Pocus, and I made some cheese dip and opened a bag of tortilla chip and some salsa, so chips and dips for a movie snack really kind of completed dinner and made it all better.

Nothing pressing on the agenda. But then I rarely press anything. If I have to go to that much trouble to wear it, it will generally stay in the closet.
