It has been mostly cloudy and rainy today. The sun did come out for a bit.

As for my hair, I just had the roots touched up, the color is the same.

Irene-I hope you and Annie like the new Vet.
I will be going to London to visit my son on the 28th. I am getting excited to see him, it has been a little over a year. I do talk to him and my daughter-in-law often, but it is not the same as being near them.

We're babysitting tonight. It'll be fun. My son and future daughter-in-law will be there too.
Probably try to work on some more details for our trip today, figure out which trails we want to walk, sites we don't want to miss, gluten free restaurants, etc.

good morning all, well the vet was awesome we always had to put a muzzle on Annie to get her nails trimmed but the vet was so tender with Annie so maybe we won't have to use one anymore. I was happy it turned out so good she even gives discount for military since George is retired air force so I see this as a win. I found a five cents on our walk this morning it was a nice walk except my allergy's are really bad I may have to take some meds. Vix enjoy your vacation and Jo I know you must be getting excited about going to London. Roger it looks like just you and I are staying home. That's fine with me we just haven't found any where we want to go yet. Roger hoping whatever the dr plans to do is not to painful for you. take care everyone0

I am running late due to a couple of factors, It seemed prudent to scope out where my Dr. Appointment is on Tuesday due to where it is. That turned out to be a good idea. Sunny and 58 at the moment with a high of 80 expected. No special plans for today. Will start thinking about what to bring on vacation with me....will be gone next week...off to Sedona, AZ. Will be spending some time with family before we go.

I tend to avoid travel on holidays, After dealing with traffic for many years I now avoid it if possible.
I hope the Dr. comes up with an easy cure. Painful, I could deal with being bedridden in a hospital is another story.

Good morning.
We had t-storms last night. Babysitting was fun. He didn't seem to even notice the thunder and lightning.
It's 64 at the moment, cloudy, expected high of 89!!! and possible t-storms in the p.m.
No special plans for today. Maybe some cleaning and starting to get ready for our trip. I looked up a lot of stuff yesterday. There is plenty to do there.

We had rain yesterday afternoon and overnight. Today is a mixture of sun and clouds with a high of 82. I am going to try once again to get my flower beds weeded.
Yesterday I found 4 one dollar bills and 1 cent. This is my biggest find so far.
I bought a new iron trellis and hubby attached it to the deck, so my clematis would have a place to climb and it also gives us some privacy.
Roger-I either Skype or Facetime with my son. We planned our trip back in December. We bought our plane tickets and booked our hotels. We have also been planning things to do over there since December.
Irene-I am glad you liked the Vet and a discount too, win-win.
Vix-Again, have a wonderful time!
House cleaning today and as mentioned above, yard work.

Weeds, Yuck. At least they should pull easy after that rain.

Last night at 10 PM it was still 80 degrees, currently It is 53 degrees outside.
I may be brief today and tomorrow due to time constraints
The outcome of the doctor visit was not good news. I seem to have what the doctor described as a Cholangiocarcinoma that needs surgery. That means removal of part of the Liver. I suppose it could have been worse if undiscovered for a longer period of time. This morning I will be out of here early for the first of two preop tests. Today is a Nuclear Stress test and I need to schedule another cat scan when I get home. In approximately two weeks I should be scheduled and have the surgery then 7 days recovery in the hospital. If anything should occur during this period look for a email from my brother with a subject somewhat along the lines, Update from Roger's brother.
