The good thing is that the doctor took his time explaining everything including drawing what is happening and the proposed surgery.

    I just posted more humor

    Hi
Currently It is 61 degrees outside. We had some light rain overnight and a possibility of Severe weather for the late afternoon into the evening.
I feel sorry for my brother TBH, He has been running me around and has to do all the mowing and other yard work. In some ways this may be harder on him than on me as of today.

Yesterday I got the OK from the Cardiologist for surgery and Friday I go for the Catscan wanted before hand and then I can call the scheduler to setup the surgery.

Would You believe that I forgot to ask about those. I am guessing yes, but that is only a guess.
Just like I forgot to ask if they used a mesh in the hernia repair since the lawsuits regarding them are all over the TV. I suspect not, what doctor would want to open a potential liability by using a mesh.

Thank You for the Thought and Prayers

    Hi
Currently It is 61 degrees outside. The Forecast is 90 degrees today according to the 6AM local news channel :(
I heard some rain move through overnight and Thunderstorms this afternoon.
When I looked out the window a couple of minutes ago I saw a Fox in the neighbors front yard which then trotted up the street.

Yesterday my brother started prepping for Memorial Day. $4 for Celery :(
Diced Celery, Diced Onions, Shredded Carrot and diced Gherkins which he uses instead of Relish and Boiled Red Potatoes. Goal Potato Salad and Macaroni Salad. The Pinto Beans have been soaking overnight to become Baked Beans. Cupboard checked and Spirals Macaroni it is for the Macaroni Salad. The Local Produce store has not had Celery for a while and the $4 price was at a Grocery Store.

I have some 70% off Sesame Chicken, 70% Moo Goo Gai Pan, and Yesterday I had the 70% off Kobe Pastrami sandwich from the ShopRite the Chinese items will be today's meals today, Me and bargains

    Good morning;
I am officially on vacation for the next 2 weeks. I just have to pack and will be ready for my trip across the pond to see my son.
Irene-That was scary for you and Annie. I glad she was not hurt.
Vix-I hope you are having a wonderful time!
Roger-I heard about the man's house being cleaned on the news. The article on the Brits working a 9 hour week, how will they be able to eat and keep a roof over their head?
Nothing much doing today, just getting things together for our trip.
    Have a great day! :)

What a shame that Your walk had that happen. Dogs getting loose is one reason I always used a walking stick when I walked.

Congratulations on finishing the front yard. Those bags of mulch do get heavy.

When do You leave for England, I'm guessing after the Holiday rush ?
That Big salty pond does have some size. I have one regret about that, I regret not flying the Concord at least once :(

That House being cleaned is all over the News the last couple of days, Either Slow news days or there is something they do not want to cover.

I don't think the save the planet types care about keeping a roof over peoples heads. I will go further and speculate that they might think it is a benefit if You can't heat or cool Your house and not be able to have meat on the table. Once again I could be wrong, OTOH many of the Save the planet green types do not seemed bothered when they fly everywhere or use big cars so....

    Have a Nice Day

    Hello Irene
I just finished of the leftover coffee from what my brother brewed yesterday and put in a Yeti Thermos for me.

I can understand cutting the walk short and going home to check things out. Not the best day for no power for 5 hours either. The weather has been very good for growing grass, As a result the front lawn is starting to look a little ragged despite being mowed not that far back :(

No one could live comfortably on a 9 hour week paycheck. The only way I could see it would be if the Government provided free housing, Power and food.

I can see why Sunday was a Pool day, The AC went on early and stayed on for the daylight hours.
It is now Monday and this room is showing 77 degrees on the thermometer and it just hot 8 AM.

    Have a Nice Day
    Roger
