Thanks for the kudos everyone! I have decided I'm actually going to train to get my 10k time under an hour, so I started a 10k trainer program yesterday. It is a 10 week program and I have about 12 weeks until my next 10k race. This could seriously cut into my cycling time.
Adding 4.5 miles for yesterday's run plus warm-up and cool down.

I testing my "workout before school" plan and I was up at 5 to go use elliptical at gym, and got in 3 miles. Tomorrow's my first actual day back with students. I've never been a morning work out fan but I'm trying to love it!

Thanks everyone! I had a very tasty home-cooked meal and we got out for a nice sunset walk afterward and yes, Karen, there was some handholding. After we got back, we had a little dessert and watched a movie. Conversation was easy and we had a really great evening.

I"M ALIVE!
I'm so sorry that I've been MIA. I think of you all regularly, but can't seem to a) get on here to read and post; or b) move my @ss right now. Between a new foster daughter, a son who is having trouble adjusting, two vacations coming up (starting on Wednesday of this week), and work being super busy, I haven't done ANYTHING exercise related in almost 2 months
BUT... I am feeling very dedicated to starting a regular exercise regimen again, beginning in September. Until then, I continue to be grateful to Dave for taking over my spreadsheet updating, and I really look forward to "seeing" you all regularly, again, in September.0 -
