    Adding 26 miles for 196 out of 350. Still on the trainer but at least this one lets me ride places other than here. I was riding around Red Rock and Lockhart Texas tonight. Just outside of Austin. :smile:

    YaY . . . . I'm back . . . . and revising my target to 100 - I did better on holiday than I expected. Lots of lovely walking along coastal paths in South Wales.

    4th: 7.82 miles purposeful walking MTD 12.82
    5th: 6.59 miles purposeful walking MTD 19.41
    6th: 7.56 miles purposeful walking MTD 26.97
    7th: 7.2 miles purposeful walking MTD 34.17
    8th: 8.16 miles purposeful walking MTD 42.33
    9th: 0 miles - spent day travelling, most of my steps were got taking my tent down. LOL
    10th: 8.01 miles purposeful walking, DH last day of holiday MTD 50.34
    11th: 1.88 miles purposeful walking MTD 52.22
    12th: 0 miles MTD
    13th: 0 miles MTD
    14th: 0 miles purposeful walking MTD

    I think I need to spend a few hours reading - catching up with what's been going on. Hope everyone is MUCH healthier and fitter!! with surgery and injuries healed and healing, and new additions to the family still bringing joy and smiles.

    ETA: very excited. A cyclist friend is coming to visit on Wednesday with a view to overhauling the Claud that has been hanging in the garage, unloved and unused, for the last few years. I think I may now be fit enough to cycle (though not at the standard I see here!!)

    Recovery spin today. Yesterdays ride took a bit more out of me than I thought. Rest day tomorrow though!

    We go from severe heat to wearing a jacket today. Weird but that's Montana for ya!!
    I rode 10 on ex bike and 3.5 on foot.

    Wow! Trying to adjust to the unbelievable heat and humidity. Back to the fish bowl workouts of sucking air through a straw.

    @jth11706: I just came back from an 8 1/2 drive so I am feeling for you.
    @Dean: Hope you are in range of the fires. I am sure it's not fun being coupled inside.
    @Lovemyalex: that is so great that you are gaining range of motion. I am so happy for you and so glad you continue to be getting stronger with your bionic knee.

    over the weekend
    8-15-15 4.82 on bike after jumping at a trampoline park
    8-16-15 2.5 walking/riding/swimming just working off the soreness of Saturday.

    5.5 mile walk/run. Made a plan to get myself outside running early and was out there at 9:20, not as early as I planned but it was still only 81 degrees. Ran 3.1 with my best nontreadmill time so I think I need to do this more often.
