Soils engineer! Is that like bad or really bad? Cause it sounds really bad.
I hope it is more what Chris is thinking.
At 146.8 this morning. Hope I can keep it in the 146 range now.
Shelley0 -
Yeah, Paula, I hope it isn't anything really bad.
Okay...I was 140.4 this morning. Much better than Sunday's number. Tomorrow is my weigh in...we'll just have to wait and see.
Chris0 -
I didn't even know there was such a thing as a soils engineer.
Hope it all works out for you with relative ease.
I was 143 this morning! Super hoping I'm down at least half a pound tomorrow so I can be back to where I was pre-binge.0 -
I was back up to 164, but honestly, that was very early in the morning and before the digestive system was activated, so it'll go down again.
I'm hoping we only lose the garage and not the whole house. Soils engineer will dig to find answers.
Aaack! Paula0 -
Paula...if you lose the garage, can you talk DH into rebuilding it as an Extra Special Exercise Palace? You could call it the ESEP for short...or...just the Exercise Room...ER for short? Then you could say..."Honey, I'm going to the ER for a GS (Glisten Session!). Text me when dinner is ready, and I'll be right in." then air-kiss across the kitchen... Yeah, that works!!
Chris0 -
Oh no Paula! This is the new home I am guessing? Does insurance cover this? I am sick with worry. But if it is just a garage issue, listen to Chris. Her ideas have great possibilities. When will you know? Oh my, sure hope that your digestive system kicks in and the weight is down some.
Michelle here is to pre binge weight!
Shelley0 -
Yikes, Paula.
Well, I was still 143 . . . BUT!!! My body fat percentage was the lowest it's been all year! So I'll take that as a win!0 -
139.6 this morning on my scale. My weigh in was 141.0 (with clothes on). I'm up from my last weigh in but still down from when I first weighed in at the Friday meeting on 10/9/15...(147.4). It's my REST DAY today, so I'm going to shop after 1st grade!!
Chris0 -
Pom poms up! Yeah Chris and Michelle.
I was up a bit. Tomorrow will be better.
Shelley0 -
STILL 143!! It's taunting me, haha!! Oh well. Still gonna stick to my calorie goals today. No binging this weekend for THIS chick! Already lifted this morning (hit 185 on my squats, but had to stop one rep short on my last set . . . so, a half-PR! And I PRed deadlifts at 160), and right now I'm getting ready to go for a run. It's chilly today, so I don't want to do it. Not making excuses, though! Just gonna go get it done.0
-
I lost six pounds last night, how's that for the bottom of a bounce - wonder what it will go back up to tomorrow? I'm sick and have no appetite, but this is surely water weight which won't last.
Paula0 -
Thanks, Shelley!
Paula, I don't think that's how we're supposed to do this...getting sick is really against our rules, you know. I hope you are feeling better.
Michelle, I stayed the same this morning, too. At least it didn't go up!
Chris0 -
- Okay, Feeling human again. Two days of a really nasty cold felt like weeks, but it's over, whew!
- And the soils engineer said we can probably save the garage too, gonna be $$ but we'll still have a roof over our heads.
- And I gained back only 2 of the 6 pounds and hope to stay in the 150's.
Hope y'all are doing well! Why are those little pounds so hard to get rid of??Paula
0 -
Paula I'm so glad you are feeling better and that your garage is safe! I hope you stay in the 150's too!!
Down .6 this morning...139.0. I'll go with that little bit!!
Chris0 -
198.4 this morning. I'm down .6 as well. I'll take it after this crazy, busy weekend. We had a tennis match yesterday in the coldest first day of spring. Thirty mile an hour winds. It was not fun and we loss all 5 lines. I didn't play but was there for support. We will get there soon...new division. The good thing is we had 3 three set matches...the bad thing we were there from 12:00 until 5:00.
Paula I'm glad you're feeling better.
Kathy0 -
Good going, Kathy! Little bit at a time! I'm down .2 this morning!! A real little bit, but it counts, right?
Chris0 -
LOVE seeing everybody down in their weight!
I was finally down to 142 yesterday morning, but I snitched a few pieces of Mom's shadone yesterday without tracking them (heh, oops) and was back up to 143 this morning. Tightening it back down today!

Michelle that is my problem also. Not logging everything in! Grumble
I was up to 147.4 this morning. Must have been those 4 gummi worms I had after I was done for the night! I so was not thinking!
Looks like we are all doing great here. Logging really helps us.
Kathy you know I am in your corner. That is awesome!
Paula that sounds promising! So glad you have a roof over your heads.I am sure Chris would put you up though.

Michelle & Shelley (even your names are similar),
Gummy worms and shadone, so many temptations -
Isn't it amazing how our fingers can reach out and put something in our mouths without our minds being aware of it? So sneaky, the fingers are!
Paula0 -
So now I can point to what's at fault for the extra pounds!! bwahahah!
Chris0 -
You know, Paula, I honestly never even thought about how similar our names were until you pointed it out. This is almost scary.
I'd definitely say that the "sneaking calories" thing is my number one biggest hindrance. I don't know why I do it. My brain just shouts at me to grab a few extras and not care about it! Ugh!! I did it again last night, sneaking many, many tastes of dinner (before, during, and after it was done cooking) and a few pieces of my husband's Easter candy. Oh, and I put some milk in my tea last night without logging it. But I was still at 143 this morning! By some miracle. I NEED to get better about that!!
I'm not going to log on Easter, though. I'm also not going to go overboard - limiting myself to one plate (and not loading it down until the sides creak) and trying small pieces of no more than two of the desserts. Thankfully, we're having Easter at my aunt and uncle's house, and they have a barn full of horses I can go play with, and in the late afternoon, we're all going out in the woods and target shooting. All those things are nice distractions to get me out of the house and away from the food!
Anyone else have any Easter plans?0 -
Distractions are the perfect relief, Michelle. Sounds like a great alternative. Congratulations on your Whackadoodle win, btw. Everyone's ring photo story was so good. (Kathy/Clara/Kat: on the LOTR challenge, we had to make a story out of photos - Michelle's team won.)
On Easter, DH & I hope to celebrate SIL's 95th birthday. We had meant to have her friends over but that will have to wait till next month. We just call it an "extended birthday" when it lasts more than a day or two.
I'm still fighting a cold. My boss told me to stay home. Kind of glad, it's really embarrassing to be hacking and snorting and wheezing and doing big old nose-blows all day, knowing its driving coworkers bonkers. Prefer to stay home - DH can go outside. :ohwell:

Paula, you have a pretty nice boss! My old boss wouldn't have done that in a million years.
I didn't even see our ring photo story, and I don't have access to the main thread anymore for some reason...
I read and sneak...sometimes it's good for me...sometimes...
I don't know what's happening Easter. The kids might go to SIL's mom's house. Nothing is firm with anybody. It's no big deal since DDD is all grown up. In a couple of years that will change when our grandbaby is here. Maybe I can get DH to buy a rabbit suit!
Hope you are all having fun!

Yep, just point at them extras! Yikes!.
Paula I hope you feel better soon. Colds are so annoying for sure!
Michelle, yep, names are similar, we both shoot and have the nasty habit of sneaking extras! Oh my, we need a support group! Oh wait, we have one. Now we must succeed!
Wait, Chris is a sneaker also! I am betting we all are at times. Muahaha. But enough this week.
I did not feel like looking at the ring stories. Will have to catch up.
Having the kids and families over for Easter. Ham and dessert is on the menu.I love company. Been using Lanthanum chloride in my tanks for a week or so. Still battling phosphates. The LC binds the phosphates. But then it is hard to remove and not lots known about the future possible side effects. Trying to use it in the dumps so hopefully I can remove the by products before they enter the main tank. Crossing fingers and going slowly. Phosphates are already falling.

And yes I was up this morning! Grumble, my own snitching fault! I could so kick my butt. I did make me work out extra.
Shelley0 -
I was up early this morning, so I wonder if that's what's responsible for my weight being up...no wait...my weight is up because the weight of my food is up and I can't wait to put it in my mouth...
Chris
P.S. ugh!0 -
Aw, get better, Paula! :flowerforyou: Nice of your boss to give you the day off. I'd rather not bother my coworkers when I'm sick, either.
Admittedly, I did not read all of the ring photo stories. I personally wasn't a huge fan of that particular challenge, and it took me the better part of the week to come up with ANYTHING. Our fellowship leader suggested making little rings out of paper and writing on them the evils that hinder us in our goals (since "the ring is altogether evil"). It was nice to peg down my weaknesses in such a tangible way, but . . . yeah, I didn't read any of the other stories. Heh, oopsie.
Not sure what's on our menu for Easter yet, other than ham. Seems like that's quite the traditional Easter dish! But since we're Italian, I'm sure there will be several different types of pasta and a gigantic salad. I can't decide what I want to bring yet. Bouncing between broccoli salad (which I brought last year and was a huge smash) and these crescent roll things I make that are filled with apple slices, Brie, and pecans and glazed with honey. I'd have to include a note with those since they just look like rolls from the outside.
I was 141.5 this morning - lowest I've been since . . . since that fateful fall vacation, I think! Definitely since Christmas! Yay, progress!0 -

Recipe please, these sound delish! I make crescent rolls. But they are just cornmeal crescent rolls. No hidden surprises. And I want to be at your 143!
Weight was down a tad bit. Not enough though.
Chris I so know what you are saying. Ugh!
Shelley0 -
They are ridiculously super easy. I just use storebought crescent roll dough from a tube 'cause I'm usually not enterprising enough to make my own dough, haha! I roll out each triangle, then on the thick part, I put a very thin slice of Granny Smith apple, a tiny little blorp of honey (I think that's the technical term), a thin slice of Brie, and a pecan half. Then I roll it up, brush the top with a little bit more honey (mixing it with a little bit of water helps it brush more easily), and bake them according to the crescent roll package directions. Voila!
Congrats on being down! Every little bit counts!!0
