Those are great ideas, I think i'm going to bring in my tablet to catch up on some shows tonight and I need to start writing down some quotes and putting them around my house!

Your vision boards are amazing thanks for sharing them!
@wahagent05
Yikes - we've all got to make sure we put in some extra time exercising.. kind of scary but we should use that as motivation to push us that much harder!0 -

@Serendipity0913 Absolutely love your inspiration board!! I want to make one of those myself!! It's a great way to have a reminder of what you are working towards and yours looks awesome!!! I'm sure your kids had a great time helping you make it
@wahagent05 Love we have weekly awards!! Great motivation to push us harder. My weigh in is Thursday, & I am going to keep watching what I eat and working out harder til then!! I hope I can bring a great loss for our team!
@wickedlovely2539 Excellent job on those 3 pounds!! You really worked hard this week & it shows!!wahagent05 wrote: »
Too cute!! I'd be burning quite a few calories if that were the case!! LOL0 -
Here is my check in post for the night.
Stayed under my calories with exercise.
Exercised for 42 minutes on the treadmill. Did 7 of those minutes during my lunch hour!! I am trying to walk a little bit on my break because it helps me get towards my total steps goal. & I am sure a mid day walk is a great boost for metabolism! Gotta do something to get this metabolism boosted lol!
Walked at least 8,000 steps today!
I wish everyone on my team the best of luck in their weigh-ins!

Also! I forgot to add, I have an Non Scale Victory for today!!
Several ladies at work have noticed I have been losing weight! They told me I'm looking really good and to keep at it. One of the girls asked me what I have been doing to lose the weight. I told them logging food on MFP & exercising! This is apparently one of the world's most ancient secrets LOL.. who would have thought eating better & moving more would be the answer to.... *gasp* WEIGHT LOSS haha.
I still feel a little awkward when people notice I have been losing weight and they ask me about it. But I'm trying to be more open with people about it because this is a journey that will not only help me, but in the long run inspire others along the way.
I am just glad my hard work is being noticed by others. Makes me want to keep pushing forward and work harder!!
& the image below is true. I started my journey full force at the beginning of the year & it has been 3 months before people have really started to take notice! Just keep pressing forward and never give up!

slgibbs1987 you are doing really great, on a daily basis! You can truly tell that you want this!!!!
You are also hitting or surpassing your step goals everyday...8,000 steps...wow congrats!
I love midday walks, yes it is good to boost your metabolism, & it is also good for clarity. After a short walk, your mind is so much clearer when you go back to work.
Good luck to you as well on your weigh in!

Isn't it a wonderful feeling when people start noticing?
Your post is so true (thank you for posting that}...my family and a few close friend have noticed, but i was a lil shocked when my landscaper stopped by this evening, and immediately noticed...he said hello. and commented that i was getting skinny...yeeessss i said, i'm working out with a big ole smile on my face!!!!
It makes all the hard work... worth it!0 -
Good morning team!
Ran across this very inspirational quote! & it's so true. All you gotta do is take it one day at a time. Don't think about how long it's going to take you. If you focus on the present, then the future will take care of itself!

I've lost weight, to include 2 inches off of my waist. What is the best way to lose more weight from my stomach? That is where I really need (and want) to concentrate on. Doctors say that is the most dangerous area to be fatty. Thanks!0
-
Congrats strength_76 on your inches loss! Yes the larger the core the more health issues can occur, that is so true! I have lost alot of inches on my waist as well...i feel sooo much better w/o a bulge sticking out in front!0

Excellent job on the 2 inches! From different things I read online, it's very hard to spot reduce on a certain part of the body. But I will try to look around and see if there are any good stomach exercises that may help some!0 -

Just looked up information about the c25k, it's seems doable. I hadn't heard of it before.0

I haven't been doing it long...only a few weeks...and to be honest...i am NOT trying to run 5k anytime soon! Lol
I am doing it b/c i get to walk & jog while the app keeps up with my calories, time, and distance!
I do walk 2 min jog 60seconda, on & off for 45 mins...30 mins on my lazy days!
I think the original c25k app charges a fee, so i downloaded an app called RunDouble...it works just fine for me, and i can customize my workout!
Try that for starters and see if you like it...it's free!0 -
Hey there team! Doing my daily check in..
I was able to stay under my calories.
I didn't have too much time to exercise but I did get 20 minutes in.
& I fell short of my steps goal. I did get at least 4,500 steps in.
A several posts back, I remember @wahagent05 talked about making up for whatever exercise (or in my case STEPS) you weren't able to get in on the next day. So that is my plan!
It was just difficult to get it all in some days. Had work, then just a little bit of time before church. I do a lot of sitting at both of those activities lol!
Just gotta make up for it the next day!
Hope my team is doing awesome! We made it through hump day! Woohoo!!0 -

You have been doing such an awesome job at staying under your calorie goal, and getting in your steps & more all week, that i really don't think you NOT doing a complete work out will affect you very much!
Yes, making up for what you missed really works....but if you cant make up for it tomorrow...do it one day before the week is over...you have time!
If it doesn't happen, don't beat yourself up...you are doing great! Keep up the work!0 -
thank you so much @wahagent05 for all the encouragement!
I ended up losing 1.8 pounds which gets me now at 328.6! It has been so difficult for the last month getting below 330 and now that I am below it, I am NEVER going back again!
I hope I can say bye bye to the 320s by the end of this challenge
Have a good day team!!

You are welcome slgibbs1987 and Congrats on your 1.8 lbs loss! That is indeed ANOTHER victory for you!
I think most of us understands how it feels to get stuck in a certain weight class for awhile, without being able to drop the needed weight!
I have been stuck around the same numbers for a few weeks myself...it gets really frustrating!!!
Sometimes we have to switch things up. We may have to change WHAT we eat, WHEN we eat, HOW we exercise, HOW LONG we exercise, or WHAT TYPE of exercise that we are doing!
Never let your body get comfortable with you doing the same things everyday!
I do C25K, Cize, HIIT, Tabata, Cardio, Gilad, Tiffany Rothe...& even jumping jacks and strength training...i switch it up a lot, and i usually see results reflected on the scale...if not on the scale, definitely in INCHES!
I even switch up how i eat....some weeks i eat normal...just lower carbs, and other week... like this week, i focus more on salads and veggies!
Also IF works wonders when you hit a plateau (23:1, 20:4 or whatever is best for you)... Hope this helps!0 -

Injury is acting up again Was able to do some upper body stuff last night but walking and moving in general hurts. It's back to PT tomorrow so hopefully they'll help, but I'm not sure how much I can do today. I also decided on snacking instead of real dinner last night, and while I was under my calorie goal, it didn't make me feel better. Ugh. I have a memorial service tomorrow so this weekend is gonna be weird. Keeping my fingers crossed I'll bounce back by Sunday.0

Hello everyone, I hope that we all are on track for tomorrow's weigh in (for those who has not weighed in already of course!
I had to switch up my foods, so i hope that tomorrow will bring me some lower number!
I am thinking about changing my workout today also! Hoping for a weight loss of at least 2 lbs tomorrow!0 -

I really hope you get to feeling better soon! Take it easy and try to get that injury taken care of. That is the most important thing right now. Maybe if you're not able to workout as well, keeping a good watch on your calorie intake as well as the type of foods you are taking in will be really helpful with your weight loss.wahagent05 wrote: »Hello everyone, I hope that we all are on track for tomorrow's weigh in (for those who has not weighed in already of course!

I am thinking about adding some sort of strength training to my workout this week, so maybe I can have a bigger number for next week!
Best of luck on that weigh in tomorrow!!0
