Autumn
P.J.
They're both Maine Coons. They're adopted, but not rescued. Their previous owners were selling them and I bought them. Autumn purrs super loudly, has the tiniest meow and is so calm and sweet. P.J makes different noises, purrs so quietly, it's almost inaudible, is afraid of everything, is very sweet and grooms our hair.3 -
@ashtaylor83 omg they are beautiful, how big are they? I always think my emme looks like mini maine coon.0

That cat of yours could be posting for a cats-in-human-poses calendar! (All that's missing from this one is a can of beer and a baseball cap.)

Not a pic, but here's a video of my 18 year old girl playing with one of their christmas presents. They love this thing. She couldn't get the treats because she is blind, but her little noise works well, I was shocked to see her playing with it since she sleeps upstairs and this was downstairs.

I don't have cats (horribly allergic, didn't used to be, ages ago) so I'm a cat lady of the internet variety. And I wanted to say I really appreciate this thread

@Astharteea--your gray and white cat could be my cat's twin! The first one is from last week and the second is from Dec. 2009. She is 11 years old and weighs about 12 pounds. We rescued her as a sick kitten that no one else wanted. Her name is Whitley Ann.

Well, it's tough.... But eventually, we start feeling outgunned, we get behind on our bills, and our turd-flipping hands get sore!
We have 4 grown foster failures (couldn't part with them) and 2 returns who've already claimed domicile with us, and they're old enough to vote...2 -
I don't have any cats. My daughter has 5. I sent her this.
She told me, "Mother, you're about 4 years too late...."

This is Misha, my friend and I rescued her off a busy street in Memphis. She'll be 17 this year.
And these two are Arianrhod and Ceridwen, their mum was a stray who turned up at my friend's doorstep in St. Catherines last summer, starving and pregnant. Ari and Ceri were born in July.
(Same friend. She travels a lot and attracts cats apparently.)2 -
Here's another snap of those same Xmas fosters.
One likes opera. The other, well, not so much.*
