April 1st SW 245 lbs
I was dieting prior to starting keto a week ago and lost a few lbs. In the past week I've lost 5 lbs.
I now weigh 234 lbs for a total of 11 pounds lost. YAY! My goal weight is 145lbs.4 -

Starting Keto weight - 150.6
Goal Weight - 128-133

I bumped calories up to 1820, although I've been surprised at how often I'm eating less than that. (If I had read this post a month ago I would have found it totally unrelatable. ) Yesterday after dinner I realized I'd had less than 1000 calories all day but even with a hearty evening snack I was under 1400 for the day.
My Weds weigh-ins don't show all the fluctuations, but Happy Scale tells me I've lost 1 lb in the past 19 days so I guess I'm not done reverse dieting yet. We'll see. At any rate, I'm really happy with how things are going with maintenance so far this go-'round, and with how active I've been since getting my Fitbit Charge 2 three weeks ago.1 -
Also, I posted at some point (this winter maybe?) that I was hoping my maintenance carb level would be around 50-80gm (maybe 100)/day but I was worried I'd messed up my carb tolerance by eating keto for so long because it seemed like I struggled if I went much over 50.
Well, I've been in the 50-80 range a number of times the past several weeks without adverse effects (scale bouncing up, increased joint pain or cravings/hunger, etc.). I think it may have been the type and quality of carbs I'd experimented with before that were causing problems (e.g. when I ended up bingeing on Zone bars in Feb. ).2 -
I think my TDEE is badly miscalculated and I'm running too large of a deficit. I've only gone running twice this week, cheated one day, and still watching the pounds drop off.
Erm... maybe not. I hit 171.3 a couple of days after this weigh-in. Been there for almost 2 weeks since. Missed last weigh-in Wednesday.
Good. It's a chance to reflect.
What's different? Have I not been as careful about weighing foods? Have I been eating differently? Yes, more nuts the last two weeks. How did I eat a month ago when I was crushing body fat? Have I been exercising as much? No, car was in the shop, I used it as an excuse to skip a workout last week. Also, had a really tight calf about two weeks ago at the start of the stall. Missed a couple of workouts then.
Time to go from vigilant to diligent.

Start date 4/4/17. This is actually a re-start date, I tried to introduce more carbs to have more balance and what I got was more lbs!

I haven't posted on here in a while. I've had some health issues....diagnosed Hypothyroid. Finally been on medication for a couple months and a strict diet.

Down a pound from last week!! I had a couple of minor slips this week, with the scale moving up and then back down today. I'm trying to move to just weighing weekly but haven't been successful with that yet.

Looks like I've now lost 1.3 lbs in the past 26 days. Things have definitely slowed down with the reverse dieting. TDEE may only be 1700 calories/day, even though Fitbit Charge 2 is estimating an average of 2300 cals burned/day. Wonder if that's a PCOS thing since that's quite a bit lower. (I'd been hoping to end up around 1800-2000 for maintenance with my activity levels but it's a little early to say for sure.)4 -

I'm now at my lowest weight since I graduated college 19 years ago! I have noticed that I stall about every 3-4 weeks then bounce 2-3 pounds for 3 weeks. I just finished a 3 week stall at 247 and whooshed 3.5lbs off this week.8 -

lol I have no idea how much I'm supposed to weigh. I've always been overweight! I was probably 260 at my heaviest in 2003 before I started Atkins & lost 60 lbs. I lost another 20 a few years ago & got down to 180 but then it crept back up and here I am. I'm determined this time is it. I have a slender frame. Websites say I should weigh between 147-165. We'll see, I guess!
