I haven't seen a thread where people share their weekly weigh ins. I'm always curious to see how others are doing and I like sharing my progress too...

Began this woe at 231, and am now 168! Goal is 165!! Before this woe, in 2010, I was 318,, and had weight loss surgery, but didn't get a handle on my food intake! My lowest weight after the surgery was 208. I know I wouldn't be here without LCHF!

I almost got weight loss surgery... I did the whole program and was approved, just waiting on a surgery date, but decided I needed to do this naturally...

I tend to weigh in on a Tuesday but like this thread so going to add my info to this - my SW was 294lbs in Dec 2015, I started doing LCHF in mid February
so my stats were:
SW - 294lbs (21st)
Mid Feb - 276.5lbs (19st 10.5lbs)
7th Jun - 250lbs (17st 12lbs)
GW - 140lbs (10st)
have lost so much more on this WOE and feel so much better - I did consider weight loss surgery but decided it was not for me and I had to find something that was sustainable for life rather than a diet26 -
I'm on day nine now.
SW: 216.8
CW: 213.2
GW: 165/17024 -
I started May 17th - 239.8
Current weight - 224.6
Goal weight - wherever my body starts to feel comfortable
I like the idea of weighing in every Wednesday; it will help with my accountability.

GW (initial) - 170 (13% BF)
GW (2nd) - 185
I actually weigh daily. It helps me keep accountable to myself. The second goal is my planned keto "bulk", after I kill the fat, that involves a lot of pick things up and put them down. I know my lean mass (148 lbs) due to regular bod pod readings, so BF% is more my true goal than an actual weight.7 -

Thanks for the kind words. Yep, it's amazing what diligently taking all those little baby steps every day can accomplish over time...I made the switch to LCHF beginning of September 2014 so it's been a little over 21 months for me now following this WOE. You know I love it!!12 -
I hate the idea of putting my weight out there. I was never small, but I didn't weigh so much until I attempted a starvation diet under the guidance and care of a medical weight loss program. After such diet I had lost a minimal amount of weight, when I caved after feeling like crap 100% of the time, my weight skyrocketed to way higher than it was before without provocation. I don't eat fast food, I wasn't eating sweets and candy all the time. I ate wheat bread with lean turkey and veggies, and going out to eat for sushi having a reasonable 2 rolls. My best friend had suggested this last year, but then I had one stinking stone in my gallbladder that lodged itself and made my gallbladder necrotic and I had to have emergency surgery, so I couldn't tolerate the high fat content for awhile. 9 days in, and I'm feeling energized and my weight is dropping. If guess if I can't share with people in a similar situation, where can I?

I have found this group to be incredibly supportive and nonjudgmental. You can feel comfortable sharing whatever information, thoughts or questions that will help you to achieve your goals!

Hey... we're all in this together! I've made my account somewhat anonymous because I don't want people in my "real life" seeing all my personal stuff here. I've found this group to be incredibly supportive and smart too. Glad you posted.
@karebear5891 I was in a similar situation. I was 279 lbs, did the HCG protocol and got down to 233 lbs... couldn't stick to the very low calorie phase (500 calories/day) and never did the low carb phase properly, had some stressful stuff happen in my life and before I knew it I was over 300 lbs! So here I am... This time I'm changing the way I eat for good, and I'm committed to sticking to it...10 -

I'm in maintenance but I've struggled a bit with staying right in my range (129-132). I've been closer the last few days though. Weds weigh-in was 132.6. (SW was 153.4.)9

I think I'll play even though I'm in the "weight doesn't matter" mind frame. Lol
I don't like that my weight has creeped up a bit the last month, so I would like to get right back to where I was in April. I have a pool party to attend and vacation in July so mentally, I just need those pounds back!

I'll be using my trend weight (Happy Scale) every Wednesday instead of that days scale weight.9 -

For me, my losses are far more in the inches/fat losses arena, so this would look kind of crazy for me.
Heaviest Weight (at doctor, was higher but unmeasured in same year): 319
LC Starting weight was 260-265
Lowest weight (last year, while low carbing): 240
Current weight: 255.2
Goal weight - not a number - just want to feel good, look good, be able to be active, etc. It will be under 200...
I don't know that I will weigh in on Wednesdays or at all regularly, as I tend to way in Saturday or Sunday, when I've actually had enough sleep overnight...8 -

I joined the Keto life on April 18th and it's been the best thing I could have done!
I want to get back into a size 12. I've never been smaller than that and having been at such a high weight when I do lose back under 200 I'll have a lot of extra skin that will never allow me to be a smaller size unless I have it removed. I've thought of it, just never pulled the trigger.10 -
Doesn't have to be a literal Wednesday weigh in... Meant more like a weekly weigh in... Mine just happens to fall on Wednesday and I liked how it sounded... alliteration is nice... LOL

Keep up the good work people.
I'm not going to post my weight because I was never that overweight to begin with. For me it was bf%. I know the home scales aren't so accurate, but they'll be constantly inaccurate. My starting was 19.8% bf with BMI of 26.7. I don't really care for BMI, it's not a sound reckoning. I'm not a woman for a start.
Anyway, my bf is 17.3% and the BMI says 25.4. I lost 10lbs in the first two weeks. I'm trying to get back into regularly hitting the gym - I find it difficult to home study and gym.
I need to get back to 90kg squat which is what it was at before knee surgery.5 -

My desired goal would be just to be comfortable and able to play with my children without getting hot flashes within minutes.

Have been doing Keto since late October 2015 after other options were just not working for my body. Loss is still slow, but it is steady.34 -
