No weight loss this week. I think that weigh-in Wednesday could help me stay accountable this summer!

    CW: 162
GW: 142 (Perhaps less, I'll reassess when I get there.)

    Started 2nd week of Feb

    SW - 242
    CW - 209.6
    GW (initial) - 170 (13% BF)
    GW (2nd) - 185

I actually weigh daily. It helps me keep accountable to myself. The second goal is my planned keto "bulk", after I kill the fat, that involves a lot of pick things up and put them down. I know my lean mass (148 lbs) due to regular bod pod readings, so BF% is more my true goal than an actual weight.

    6/15 - 208.6 lbs - 28.6% BF

    6/22 - 208.0 lbs - 28.3%

    August 14, 2015 - 234 (started low carb)
    Today's weight - 184
50 pound loss since starting LC 10 months ago
    Height - 5'7"

I'm thinking I may be at my goal weight...ultimately I wanted to get down to 150 but I haven't lost any weight since April. Well, I take that back, I got down to 179.8 on May 4 but I've been bouncing around the 185 mark all along. My logging is non-existent and I know I don't follow low carb as closely as I had been at the beginning. I'm fine maintaining through the summer I think. I do exercise most days. I feel pretty good in my size 10 pants and medium shirts. I do have quite a bit of loose skin but that's from weighing almost 300 pounds before I underwent gastric bypass surgery in 2008. That will never go away without surgery. I was able to get down to 160 after surgery but that weight slowly crept back because...well...life. I'm ashamed I let myself get back up to 234. I didn't want to be one of "them people" that has surgery and then gains all the weight back. :(

    Today's weight - 180.6
53.4 pound loss since starting LC August 2015
    Height 5'7"
I haven't been sneaking carbs as much this last week and I've been more consistently exercising. I've been taking my 120# Neapolitan Mastiff for a 2+ mile walk in the morning instead of getting on the treadmill and she LOVES it. And even though it's a pain when she has to keep stopping to sniff and poop, it nice to be outside and I can pick a different route so I have a change of scenery. Shark week is due next week AND I'm going to be at a motorcycle rally over the 4th of July weekend. I plan to stick to low-carb as much as possible, but with only food vendors to choose from, I have already decided I will indulge, but not to the extent I have in the past. I will choose low-carb foods as often as possible, but I'm also not planning to deny myself some yummies. Oh, and much alcohol will be consumed! My drink of choice this year will be "summer hummer" which is lime vodka and orange juice but I will be taking the orange sunrise flavored packets of generic crystal light to mix with water instead of high sugar orange juice. Oh, and probably Bud Select 55 since that is pretty low carb. I will weigh in next week before it's off on the bike, but most likely will NOT weigh in on July 6!

    Have a great day everyone!

I started at about 250 (again) in early 2014 and lost down to 230 by going hungry. Started LCHF Oct 2014 and lost down to 200 over six months and maintained there for one year on 2500 calories daily of LCHF.

A month ago I realized I had backed away from super HF without planning to do that so I started adding some whole food carbs/protein to replace some of the lost fat calories.
    May 22 2016 my net weight-in was 200.6 pounds.
    June 22 2016 my net weight-in was 190.6 pounds.

The high/low for the month was 203/190. The charts call 160-180 my idea weight range. It is still visceral gut fat that is my health concern today. Still no carb cravings have returned which key indicator in my case as to how to eat. Pain management is still great.

Naturally I am in and out of keto eating this way. Not sure if my body is just going through a phase or if this WOE change will be long term. I still do not give any concern to my daily calories but just try to eat what the body seems to wants. Sugar and grains are not part of my WOE however and there is no craving for them.

I'm going the wrong direction... Don't understand why but it's not because of eating off plan foods so I'm not worried about it. It'll sort itself out.

Haven't changed a thing and it seems I'm beginning a down trend for now.
I can't remember where I started at the first week...

Last week I was at a low of 221.4. Started out at 242.2 on 5/1/16. This week bc of some bad eating I am at 223.8. I'm back on track today and ready to make more progress. I need to find a close friend in my town to do this with me so I can be more persistent and accountable.

Even though I over ate nuts 2 days last week I still managed a 1 and 1/2 lbs loss this week. Next weeks goal is to see if I can do better by eliminating the excess. Since this was my first week following the 50/30/20 macros, I was very excited that cravings were way more under control and I was able to meet my goals of staying in the lacrosse limits (even with the nuts), got my 64oz of water in and exercised.

I would love to break the 140 barrier at my Monday Challenge weigh in... but... I am at a conference for three days this weekend out of town, so I will be lucky to hold even, lol - too many food choices at yummy restaurants... I will not just abandon my goals though, I WILL eat mindfully.

Only cheated once in my first 4 weeks and lost less than that. And I have a LOT more to lose... Celebrate, girl!
