I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that has offered their support and all those that have also shared their own personal struggles. You really never can tell what all someone is going through. Many here have had extremely painful things going on, some past and some are still going through it. I appreciate all of you and love that we're able to share more than just fitness stuff here. THANK YOU.

July 26: Called the company where I bought my indoor bike and they are sending me a new one and told me to keep the other for parts. What a nice surprise. Should be here in a day or so.
Adding 10.5 miles today of which I ran 5 and walked 5.5 miles. Got up early and ran in the fish bowl of humidity. My running club canceled training tonight because of the heat.

Wasn't as successful yesterday talking myself outside into the heat. Still managed 3.5 miles. And, with the rain yesterday, it is only going to get to 88F today, so nature center here I come! (isn't it crazy that I can call that temperature a break in the heat???)

Walked w/DH yesterday morning then hit the gym w/DDD for a 50 min workout. Walked w/DH this morning then got on the recumbent for 66 mins and an episode of Mr. Robot which was rather interesting. Two good days.

Interesting day today. I went out for an early run to beat the heat and humidity. Stopped at a stop light and pressed the pedestrian signal. I usually take a quick glance and cross but today as I was half way through I took another look to see a woman come speeding out of no where and run the red light. If the side street traffic had started out or I had been a few steps further I would have become a hood ornament. Then I had an eye appointment later today and I told my doctor that I had been seeing flashes out of my left eye for past two weeks and they stopped. She got upset and told me that I should have called immediately. I said that I figured I see her when I came in today. She told me that it could have been a retina tear. Fortunately after a thorough exam she did not find one but I am now on her watch for any further signs.
July 27: 15.25 miles added for running 4.25 miles, cycling 6 miles and walking 5 miles.

It was still hot yesterday, but the humidity had dropped so I decided to take a walk along the local bike trail. And....between going over a presentation in my head and listening to a podcast, I lost track of time. Plus, it was really nice being outside under the trees next to the river. Somewhere around 3.5 miles later (oops) I realized I should probably turn around and head back to the car. No permanent damage, but I ended up with a major cramp in my calf that made the last mile and a half back to the car really difficult. Not to mention the trip to the grocery store afterwards. Boy am I glad I didn't have any appointments yesterday, that would have been a problem. Thankfully, after some ibuprofen and foam rolling, the leg seems much better, but I'm not going to push it too much today.
Added 7.5 miles for a July total of 119.25 miles
