I am signing up for 200 again because I never know how my dad or husband will be health wise. If I get up to 200 early, I will up my goal. I know I keep forgetting to do this.
@vhuber: I am so relieved to hear your news. I was holding my breath and praying for you.
Okay...my banner this month is one of celebration as I hit my three year mark of logging on here. Here is to three more. Thank you to all the recorders for keeping our site going. It is truly motivating to me to keep moving so I appreciate the time you take to keep it updated.
July 1: Where did June go? I am logging 10.45 miles today to kick off the month. I did a different run route today at a local park and oh my, how it made a difference mentally and physically. It was a bit warm as I did my run later in the day. I figured I would hit the trails if it got too hot but I pushed through my run and knocked a minute off my mile pace. I have been trying to get my speed up and going so this was so nice seeing my times dropping after struggling from my knee surgery from two years ago. I am running pain free...praise the Lord.
I did a 6.45 mile run of which the first mile was up an extremely steep grade to get to the north ridge of the park. (I run off the beaten path...crazy me, and I like to push the cardio.) The other 4 miles were from two pup walks.
TTD:10.45 miles

My goal for July is 100km

I did well in June, so I'm going for 120 miles in July. Work starts back up a bit, but I want the incentive to keep moving anyway.
Started the month with 5 miles.
Now that it's a new month, I set up my ticker on my new computer. No switching between computers to post my miles......YAY.0 -

We had 4th of July fireworks at the high school last night. Our walk this morning was slower than normal but much longer...we found more interesting things at our two parks and the school where folks gathered to watch! Crazy! Then we got Bean for a while and took him out for a couple of miles then I got on the recumbent for 56 mins and an episode of Banshee then I worked out to a yoga DVD. Now I'm going to read!!

@Dean: More wonderful photos! Did someone have a wipeout on their bike? Glad you were not eaten by the bear in Glacier. I have a friend and her hubby coming your way. The bike guiding group that he often leads trips for is celebrating their 40th anniversary and will be in Missoula for a weekend.

It's raining. Again. This is the strangest weather for July, it isn't even expected to reach 80F today. On the 4th of July. Odd. I was able to add 8.5 miles over the weekend, about half of them on the treadmill instead of outside in the thunderstorm. I hope the rain lets up some today, I would like to get out at least a little.
July total 13.5 miles.
For my friends here in the US, Have a safe and fun 4th! For everyone, have a wonderful Monday.0 -
