@Dave - I know this series of crappy things is a lot to deal with but never forget there's a lot more on the bright side than we tend to realize. First, you have a fiance (how did I miss you guys had taken this step!!!). Second, you have time to cherish your dad and say good bye without leaving anything unsaid. Third, you have all of us (ok, maybe that's not all good, sometimes we're a pain). And you have the progress you've made taking care of your health. So hang in there, knowing that you have many blessings and things will look up again.

Soooo - I've been out of the loop for a week - feeling sorry for myself with flu like symptoms. A few minutes catching up with posts from the last week quickly put that into perspective!!

@JTH11706 - I've done a lot of Disney runs. My first Half was in 2006 and I remember that on Sunday (for those running the Full) I woke up to actual ice on my car windows! First and only time that ever happened to that car (I live in S Florida). In 2010, the morning of the Half, it was in the low 30s and raining (which I call snow at that temp!). You are right that the worst part is being out there so early and then waiting around in that cold. Once the sun comes up, it usually gets tolerable, but people don't think about it being that cold in FL.
@darkrider42 - I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.

I got a bike rack for my car for Christmas and finally put it to good use yesterday (had the day off). Went to a park and explored their trails and loved it. Such a nice day. Put in almost 12 miles really just enjoying myself....didn't feel like exercise at all!0 -
