    I forgot that I was riding on the swings at the park today and got faint then too, sooo puzzling :/

    Tonight I was outside picking up dog poop and I started feeling faint and everything started going black and I thought I was going to pass out, I had to sit for a minute and then the feeling finally passed...Its only 65 outside today and I went for a walk earlier but that's the only exercise I've done all day and I've drank plenty of water...This is the first time this has happened to me since losing weight and it was kinda scary...I feel much better now that I've eaten my supper :)

    Low blood pressure. Tall girls know a lot about this! When I was tall and skinny (6' 150#), this would happen often when I stood up. Nonetheless, get it checked out.

    I just asked my daughter if she remembered what the doctor said when I took her to urgent care after she fainted into her dad's arms. She had taken a hot bath, walked out to the smoke room and said, "Dad, I'm not feeling so goo..." and down she went. This was about a year ago. It was low blood pressure, they gave her a sheet to have lab work done to make sure nothing else was going on, but she never got around to it. Before leaving they told her to always make sure she had quick snacks available as well. It hasn't happened since.

    I don't know if you'll find that helpful to know, but it really wouldn't hurt to see a doctor for a quick check-up. Low blood pressure is one of the more mild conditions that can cause symptoms like you had, but there are plenty of others. Oh, you could go to a pharmacy that has a blood pressure thing there and check yourself, maybe?

    Thanks girls and maybe it is low blood pressure :( Something like this happened to me years ago but it was because I was in a tanning room and I got overheated, Everything went black and I had to sit on the floor, it took a few minutes until my vision came back...I was sooo scared and I thought that I had gone blind :o

    I promise that if this happens again I will get checked out...Tomorrow I water fast but if I get that fainty feeling I will eat :)

    Be careful how low carb you go. Keto people need a lot of salt to stay healthy. You may look into the effects of being very low carb as well as low blood pressure.

    you might be able to ask if this would help you in your case. Maybe you can do your fast and take these? i'm sure the caloric count won't affect your fast. You put one in a glass of water. But obviously you'll have to see what's good for you, etc

    Thanks everyone for all your concerns and suggestions <3 I've decided that I'm not going to do low low carb anymore and I'm going to just be carb conscious...I really do think that what happened yesterday was from being so low carb and not getting enough calories...So new plan starting on Sunday :)

    Brenda, I think that's wonderful. I'm carb conscience, not too high or too low, I'm in the middle. Probably too high for you, maybe, but mine are usually 120 and below, I'm often at or under 100 and I don't count them, I just am careful where they come from. You've see the food I eat, most comes from fruit, greens, chia seeds, oatmeal, and sometimes rice, low carb tortillas. Many of the foods with carbs that I eat are cut due to the fiber in them as well, and oatmeal is a slow carb or something (I don't know the term, sorry) lol.

    I count the net carbs too, which is carbs minus the fiber...I don't know what the count will be but I will adjust as needed :)

    my ideal carb intake is 120 as well :) I try not to go over this amount :)

    Today mine will be around 150 (but I have quite a bit of fiber so maybe net of 130-135ish), but I'm eating some tacos, dagnabit! Going to toast low carb tortillas and use for a taco salad :-)

    Your problem could have been too low of carbs and maybe it could have been too low of sodium. Keto folks need lots of sodium to stay healthy. Maybe a lack of it cause blood pressure to be low?

    I'm going to eat more carbs this week, I really think my body needs them and also I'm going to make sure I'm getting enough sodium, Thanks :)

    OMG, wow, Brenda! Those are some great compliments from your hubby and daughter. As far as everyone else, just because they said that you look really good, doesn't mean they're hinting that you didn't look good before. :-)
