This month's progress pics
Well done @taharamac and @TheMom6Girls with phenomenal 8lb losses in April and our biggest losers and also to @MegansMom2011 with a fab 5.8lbs down.
Welcome to our April noobs, @clairehardy77 @cthakkar1985 @hannys @jazzadesigns @provence9 @runandreas @taharamac @ummamohsin
If you're just starting out don't be too discouraged if you lost a lot to start with and then it slows down, the initial loss is mostly water weight, you'll then even out to no more than around 1% of your body weight per week. Also worth remembering that water weight can easily mask weight loss in the first couple of weeks because your natural fluctuations can be more than the amount of fat you've lost. Just log accurately and trust the process.

Ok, here goes, just wanted to share , last Monday I went on the scales.
I’d had a while where I wasn’t loosing, I went back onto using MyFitnessPal . I stuck with it and lost a pound. It may not sound much, but it is huge to me. It means that if I stick with what I am doing the weight will come off slowly and staying off is my goal.
Thank you for letting me share my good news😀1 -
Ok sorry for the delay folks, it's been such a busy month, but here are the November Progress Reports:

December/2018 progress reports, not everyone had a 2018 start weight so I just used the first weigh in from the year for those who didn't have them:

Happy New Year - Set yourself some goals for 2019 and smash them!

Thank you for the progress report and so surprised to see I am the biggest loser for my first month!
I weight myself today and was really disappointed to find that so far I've not lost weight at all this month, but the progress report has inspired me to keep going.

@prehistoricmoongoddess there will be weeks or even a couple of weeks like that, just keep at it and don't worry unless there's no change over 4 -6 weeks.2 -
January Progress Reports
Welcome to members new and returning for 2019.
Well done to @danipatt1216 (sorry realised there's a typo in your name on the chart) who is the biggest loser for January and also a big well done to @captaintrips27 @tbduarte1 @emma013 with fantastic losses for January.
A couple of things for our newer members to bear in mind:- Weight loss isn't linear, don't expect to see a loss on the scale every week, there may be weeks when despite logging accurately and feeling like you've done everything right, you won't see it reflected on the scale. That doesn't necessarily mean you're doing anything wrong, there's just more to your bodyweight than fat.
- Don't expect to see the big drops from the beginning throughout your weight loss, when you first start to lose weight you will likely see a bigger drop in bodyweight, this isn't all fat, some of this is water.
- A healthy rate of loss is around 1-2lbs per week, less if you're already in a healthy weight range.

Thanks @tinkerbellang83
I feel like I'm destined to be forever 2nd place and never 1st 😭. I'm hungry for the win 🥇 (although not enough to actually work harder 😂).0 -

Ah but the difference is you're close to goal and those who are usually top of the charts are those who are just starting our or have a lot to lose, so no point in comparing your achievements.
If I were to lose 10lbs that would be barely 4% of my weight, for you it would be closer to 6% which wouldn't be healthy. With the amount you have to lose, you wouldn't want to be aiming for more than 2% per month really.1 -
Biggest Loser for June is @caninetrix Well Done with 10.6lbs lost.
Congratulations to all for losses in June, but particular mention to @amskinner87 @chris_in_cal and @eatingems
Welcome back @NewTaxi and @JustinHeasman4 -
