Ok guys so - I don't want to get TOO excited yet BUT - I found a new scale at work. It's in the gym here, is digital down to the decimal, and looks to be of decent quality. TOMORROW I will have my official weigh in at the Dr's office (drs and a gym in the building....we are quite spoiled LOL) and then RUN over to the gym and compare to make sure they're on par.
That being said....IF the one in the gym is correct, I'm down to 185.2! AND I have another 24 hours of fasting before weigh in (36 before the breaking of the fast). @minigrrll @wsandy8512 I couldn't let y'all leave me in the dust! HERE I COME! :-D
(and thank GOD - this plateau was killin' me LOL)
Stay tuned for confirmed accurate numbers tomorrow!1 -

Agreed! And I've been on a blasted Plateau for 3 weeks and it's been driving me nuts so this is very exciting0 -
Oh also.... If the gym scale is accurate then I can weigh in 5 days a week and I do love me some data points so that would also be amazing1
-
Yay for new scale!
I was hoping you had tried the limeade! I saw it in a friend's fridge and told her I would be buying it immediately after I move. Like that will be my absolute first purchase.
She says it's amazing as a mixer with tequila, too, but just it on its own sounds delishhhhhh. I will definitely let you know how it is if I try it before you!0 -

OMG I MUST TRY IT! Is it sugar free I wonder? I have a hard time drinking my calories if it's not liquor/wine LMAO. I'll stalk it on the google :P0 -

I hope those scales match up for you, if not just go with the lowest number0 -
If you are 185.2 you are .2 less than me!! Woohoo! Wonder if we can make the 181 (that was the number, yeah? Can't quite remember now...) by the end of the month - kind of seems almost doable now...0

OMG - this is ME - there is no way I'm putting any drink with calories into this body unless it has some percentage of alcohol in there!!

I like the way you think, lady! I probably will, but after another 24 hours of fasting it should be lower anyway, unless the gym scale is REALLY off LOL1 -

I hear you on the not drinking your calories thing. I'm the same way. I pretty much only drink water and wine, though I have started with these smoothies. Eh... when I get it, I will likely only get a glass anyway with Swiper McSwipeson always lurking around.0

My hubby gave me the eye roll when my new Bluetooth scale came today. Lol. It was .6 heavier than my old one though! Boo!

Rooting for you and those accurate numbers! And, lmao, I'm behind you guys a bit at the moment, by nearly a pound, so you'll be leaving me in the dust! And I'd be super happy for you, regardless.

Ooooo, new Bluetooth scale - gotta love a new gadget...
And a pound is NOTHING! I can gain that in about 5 mins...

I'm a closet gadget nerd. My Apple Watch works perfectly, yet I've been desiring the 2 series because its waterproof, and I *need* it because I swim so much. My old scale worked perfectly and was only .2 pounds over, yet I had to have a Bluetooth scale with all the fancy extras--that more than likely aren't that accurate. My new scale, after taking my initial stats, gave me a body age of 51! WTFffffffffff?!!!! It keeps that *kitten* up and it'll find itself out in the middle of the street and run over by a car! Lolol
I can gain a pound in a minute, too, especially with a healthy glass of water or wine or generous amounts of coffee!

Hahahahaha!
I love gadgets too... I'm not in the closet about it at all though!
I HAD to have a new Garmin Fenix 5, even though my old Garmin Fenix 3 (they skipped 4) wasn't even a year old yet (and I HAD to have the Fenix 3 in the first place because it tracked swimming so it actually replaced my Garmin Swim watch AND my Garmin Forerunner).
I also had to have the bike trainer and a cadence sensor to stick on the crank of my bike and and and....
I think your logic is perfectly sound with the needing the new watch because of the waterproof-ness. Plus if it counts laps and strokes etc., then there is really no question and you should probably just hit "add to cart" now!!0 -

Lmao, love it!!!! So glad I'm not the only one. On the plus side, I loathe clothes shopping and my husband has to pester me to buy myself clothes. I maybe go twice a year, maybe. He gets upset that I don't ever do anything for myself unless pressured. I'm about as low-maintenance as they come so not like I'm blowing through all of our finances.
He told me to order it since it's apparent I may not survive waiting to get one for Christmas. **I bought a Fitbit Flex 2 and was puzzled because the first day it recorded my swim at 299 calories for 28 minutes. When I swam again yesterday, and did low and high intensity laps for 30 (talking sweating after getting out of the pool), it only gave me 162. I was like, "Wth?!" Found out it doesn't have a heart rate monitor. :-/

I love gadgets but I'm not very good at them - my PARENTS have more high tech cell phones then I do and they're almost 70 AND Cedric (my SO) is an executive at Samsung -_-
LMAO
I also am bad about clothes shopping - I love it, however I'm busy AND lazy so I never seem to get around to it - Ced yells at me and tells me I need to "take care of myself" and not just wear yoga pants everywhere HAHAHAH - I just ignore him and tell him I love yoga pants LOL.
EXTRA EXTRA - READ ALL ABOUT IT! Weigh in this morninggggggg?!?!?!
182.4!!!!! 6 pounds this week! I'm floored! I knew I was pulling out of my plateau but WOW! SUPER EXCITED! Only 1.4 away from my July goal, which just got WAY more realistic! In other news, the gym scale is pretty spot on to the Dr scale so I can use that to get more regular weight updates accurately should I choose.
In addition, I broke through a work drought/plateau as well (remember that I'm in a production based industry - mortgages) and kicked some SERIOUS a** yesterday and that looks to continue over into today.
I am on CLOUD NINE TODAY! PLUS my 72 hour fast breaks tonight when I get off work so YET ANOTHER thing to look forward to!
Cheers, y'all and OMAD on!2 -
Wow indeed! You are kicking butt and taking names. You will be at that goal in no time.0
-
Steph, what fantastic news you've had for us to day! I couldn't agree more than I do with Tracey, you are definitely kicking booty and taking names. Rock on, Lady!!!0

Boo!!! .6 is not that bad, just think it could have been a 6 pound difference and that really would have sucked!!!0
