Boo!!! .6 is not that bad, just think it could have been a 6 pound difference and that really would have sucked!!! :p

Lmao, that's true! I calibrated it with 15 pound weights this morning. I calibrated my old one as well. Both read 15.2 so I'm good now. Both weighed me exactly the same--I've never taken off the extra .2 from my weigh-ins, tempting as it may be, so I will just stick with not taking it off the new scale, either. :)

For the record this is my lil chart guy - I'm not 100% sure how to use it or what it really means but it's fun to look at, and I like DATA :p

I don't know how to read those either but it's going in the down direction so that's good :)

You and me both! And both show I've lost all my water weight gain from last week. Hoping it holds until my official Friday weigh-in plus maybe a bit more. :)

I HAVE FAITH!!!! You will head in the right direction! Your new plan sounds AWESOME! I also have a high point of 1750 cals a day (even if I don't have full fasting days I stick with this) so I'm not a tiny eater either. Unlike you, though, I can DEFINITELY eat it all in one sitting LMAO. Sad life, but that's ok :p

It's not a sad life, it's awesome! No shame in being able to eat it all at once. Those tacos I made yesterday, I think you saw them, I couldn't finish but half of the second one because they were so filling, though vegetarian all the way. The meal came in at around 740 calories had I been able to finish; kept me full for five hours and my last meal was smaller. lol it's the filling, nutrient dense foods that make it hard. I'd have no trouble downing your meals in one sitting. Lol You have a nice mixture. I've decided I'm going to do some 16:8 days and OMAD on others. I think it will be a great way to keep changing things up. :)

Thanks! I naturally eat somewhere in the middle - I eat plenty of junk but LOTS of good, whole nutrient dense food too, just depends on the day...another WIN FOR OMAD! LOL

I like the alternating between 16:8 and OMAD - that is probably where I'll go for maintenance when I get there o:)

I feel the same way, I want success for everyone! But, you're playful so I had to engage in some banter. :)

I don't think you got lucky, you have been doing a wonderful job with your OMAD plan and you worked for it! :)

OMG I love ALL THINGS PICKLED AND FERMENTED TOO!!!! Like seriously! If you scroll back through my thread you'll see a picture...I found this little place near me that makes homemade pickled EVERYTHING - they don't even sell it in the store they run, I just got to chatting about it and she sold me some...SO COOL.

Curry - ohhhhhhhhhhhhh curry, how I love thee LOL. I love every kind - Thai curry, Indian curry, Moroccan curry. The options are ENDLESS and YUMMY!

Oh yeah! I do remember you posted about the pickled stuff you got when I was first going through your thread! I'm surprised I didn't respond to that! I can literally eat my weight in sushi ginger, kimchi, pickles, sauerkraut, etc! I even used to brew my own kombucha, and I used to take ACV cinnamon shots daily. I absolutely adore vinegar, so I think that's the real basis for this love affair :D
I am also a HUGE curry fan. My best friend and I would go to the Indian buffet every Sunday in college as our hangover remedy, and it was always absolute HEAVEN. I LOVE bold flavors (and it seems like you do, too!), so I am naturally drawn to foods with tons of spice! Different types of curries are a mainstay in my diet. When I get my kitchen back, you will be tired of looking at curry photos! :p

    Easy refig pickle recipe:
thin sliced cucumbers to fill quart jar
3 teaspoons kosher, coarse or pickling salt
1 to 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill or 1 tbs of dillweed
    1/2 cup vinegar

whatever other spices you may like. I add garlic and a l little bit of cayenne pepper.

The juice won't cover the pickles at first but the juice will come out of the cucumbers and cover it all after a couple of hours. Yum!

I started making these a few months ago and the wife is now addicted. I planted cucumbers in the garden this year and we are picking several a week now and that is what we are doing with them. Now if I can get some before the wifey eats them all!

Been reading the thread, have anyone tried the corean stuff called Kimchi? it seems to be very good food for the guts? Haven´t tried it its fermented stuff.... veggies mainly and its spicy

I love kimchi! I've not tried to make it yet but I need to do that. We usually have some in the fridge. Great with rice. Kids won't touch it.

PS Mama still laughs at me when I take pictures hahaha

My husband laughs at me too :p

I hope those scales match up for you, if not just go with the lowest number ;)

I've only taken pics a couple of times and my wife thinks its kind of funny so I don't do it much.

@blambo61 thanks so much for sharing the recipe! I will definitely be using that. I am definitely like your wife. Luckily my fiance doesn't like pickles so that's one thing I can have to myself!

Steph, you are KILLING it!!!! Great job!
