@clepant, I TRULY think you NEED a break. Your poor little body is screaming for one!! We are to do what causes LESS stress as we get older but here we are causing MORE stress to our "older" bodies! Take care of yourself girlfriend, we only get this one chance!!

@anaconda469 , YES send us RAIN, YES YES we NEED it so very much!!

Needed some fresh air this evening so took the furry kids for a mile stroll around our dam. And now the foot is screaming!!

It's just not fair that our bodies won't let us do all of the stuff that we used to take for granted when we were 19 years old without breaking or straining!!! :disappointed:

Anyway, I hope you all have a happy Friday!

@darkrider42 I definitely agree with you about the breaking and straining. However on a more positive note I am about to turn 60 years old and my body type is now considered to be that of an athlete and I am thinking of working towards a swimsuit competition. So we may not be able to bounce back as quickly as we used to but we can accomplish so much more than we think we can!

How wonderful. I wish I could say the same. I lost a lot of weight and even though I toned up athletically, my skin did not bounce back and I could seriously benefit from some skin reduction on the stomach, thighs and upper arms. Muscles are there but so is the skin.

June 9: Well I stayed at work till after 6 pm but I still have to go back Monday for a while and finish some packing up, I don't want to toss things in my storage area. I want to toss out. Purge, so I am ready to leave at the end of next summer for good. Ugh.....dumping 42 years of teaching materials is going to be tough.

Adding 13.5 miles of walking/jogging 10 miles, running 1 mile with my autistic student, cycling 2.5 miles
    TTD: 123.4 miles

@clepant I am a retired teacher and I brought some things home with me. I made 2 large 3ring binders of my lesson plans and student examples. For each grade level. Great to look at when I miss my prior identity!

Yesterday was my oldest daughter's 27th birthday. :) She and her boyfriend came for a short visit and we went out to dinner last night. Right now they are at our nature center for a hike before they return home. We offered to go with them but they were afraid we wouldn't be able to keep up. (No, they really said that. I think they are wrong, but hey, if we're not invited.... )

Added 7.25 miles in the last two days for a June total of 41.75 miles

    Have a wonderful weekend!!
