June 13: Adding 10.5 miles today of walking and running for 5 and cycling for 5.5 miles. Lazy day, Took a break to do most nothing. I know a perfect waste of a day but sometimes you just have to regroup. I do this so rarely. I did spend time getting lots of photos off my phone. Tomorrow, it is back to early rises to run before the heat hits and to get in the garden to get work down.
TTD: 170 miles

It's blueberry time at the local farm!!!! The first picking is this morning if the weather cooperates, it looks a little threatening out there right now. This is a BIG deal for my family, it was enough to convince my youngest to stay home an extra day to come picking with me. We were really lucky to get tickets to go. The farm issues free tickets online the day before a picking to control the number of people coming out and they were gone within 5 minutes of the site opening. This was their second attempt for the day, the first time the tickets went online the site crashed. I just happened to be online at the time of the second post and we ended up getting 2 of the last 3 tickets available.
Added 4.5 miles yesterday for a June total of 57 miles.

@VHUBER - 0.2 is something at least, but probably not enough to do much good. I hope more is on the way soon!
@TAXMOM9093 - That sounds fun! Love fresh blueberries too! It reminds me of a place I grew up next to that was a pick-your-own-strawberry farm. Also very yummy.

14th: 5 miles, 1.34m (run D17/R17), 3.66m purposeful walking - MTD 77.02
@clepant - 10.5m doesn't seem such a lazy day to me ... but as you say, we all need a regrouping day. Particularly at the end of a long school year.
@vhuber - I hope you get a little more rain, in quantities that are of some use.
@taxmom9093 - sounds fab. What are you doing with the blueberries ?
ETA Day 17/ Run 17 completed. Today also included a short walk with my SO, his sister and her SO up towards the Nicky Nook trig point. Yes, that's it's real name !

June 14: Adding 14.25 miles of walking 8.50 miles and running 1.25 miles and cycling 4.5 miles. I also managed to get grass cut and my grass bed weeded after sunset when the blood suckers came out. It was another miserable 90 degree day. They good news was the Stanley Cup returning to the Burg.

2 on foot & 10 on ex bike. Also started work on cleaning out the 68' X 114' quonset for the wedding. I want to have it ready to set up this weekend so if we are in NEED of ANYTHING we can Amazon Prime it on Monday or Tuesday. We actually made a huge dent in our work today.. Sweeping that big of floor took me some time. LOL Now only if the construction workers on my house would work as fast as we do. My farm is not as pretty as it usually is in June with no rain & I have not been able to plant my flower beds around the house cuz the workers trample EVERYTHING! My perennials are really fighting for their life!! But ohhhh well!!

So we did get blueberries yesterday despite the rain. It started as a light drizzle but it kept getting harder every minute. They finally made us leave the fields when the lightening started. We were soaked to the skin but happy for the berries.
Added 4.25 miles yesterday. It feels like I should get extra credit for the slogging through the mud to and from the blueberry fields
@k80flec I have a yummy blueberry coffee cake recipe but most of the berries will be eaten plain or mixed into oatmeal. Maybe blueberry pancakes this weekend. My daughter eats blueberries by the handful. I hope to have enough to freeze too, it's wonderful to open up a bag of frozen berries during the winter when the fruit choices at the store are limited.2 -
