@kar328: really? No hospital hours? I hope it will be a little less stress for ya!!

Charge nurse position in an OB/Gyn clinic Mon-Fri 8-5 like normal people. I went to see it today, I even get an office of my own! Took all my restraint not to take out my phone and take a picture. The building is by a major shopping area, the number of restaurants will be a challenge, but they have a small kitchen so I can bring my own food. I'm sure it'll have it's own stressors, but just making this change has already made me feel at peace with the decision. My vacation falls within the two weeks notice, so i have to make it three. I come back for one whole day, since I didn't want to finish out the week, but I find that funny. It's been a strange but fun day.

Ohhh sweet! That sounds "almost" normal & I wish you the best!!!!

@vhuber Thank you. I love how supportive people I barely know have been (like here and the morning gym goers). It really makes me realize how toxic my current place is. Physically and mentally this will be better for me.

Adding 1 mile from HIIT class and laps.

I get anxious when I realize that I've forgotten.

@CALLIOPE610 - Welcome back!! Great to see you again! Don't forget to include your monthly totals in your posts too, please. :)

It was a better day today. I don't usually have those days that send me over the top but going home with a headache is not very common. I left feeling better today. Even had a group hug with some friends and shared my Dove Dark Chocolate for those moments when times get tough.
Tomorrow I help tear out our trial gardens for winter. They still look lovely but no one wants to pull plants in the cold.
Oct. 6: Adding 12 miles today of walking and a little. Running as well as coaching for an hour.
    TTD: 73 miles

@kar328 - congrats on the new job! And thank you on behalf of all the patients you've helped over the years. We talked about this once - you could have been my delivery nurse since you were working at the hospital where my sons were born. The hours were tough but I know your patients sure were glad to have you there! You've sure earned a less stressful job.

@clepant - glad you had a better day!

@leanz - good luck on the marathon.

I had a nice 4 mile run this morning. Then a fun Oktoberfest party tonight. I'm at 24/75.

We spent four hours tearing out our trial gardens this morning and up pulls a car with a photographer and a groom and groomsmen. Boy, I wish I had a camera on their faces when they saw empty beds. At least we left some cannas in around the monument for them.
