November was great! Best part was creating a plan for holiday celebrations & sticking to my plan. I'm so looking forward to December!

    11/01: 221.1
    11/05: 218.3
    11/12: 217.0
    11/19: 213.8

    11/5 169.6
    11/11 171
    11/19 166.6
    11/28 165.6
    11/30 165.

Yeah! Maybe by Christmas I can get under 160 for a day or so! We are away next weekend though so more likely up a couple of lbs and then a week to take them off!! Frankly any loss will do :)

Looking really good! Keep it and we'll ace it for Christmas!!

Does anyone follow any keto groups on Facebook? I have a ton. I have never once posted anything to them. Honestly I dont want all my Facebook friends and family to be critical so I just keep quiet. I just sit back and use it as inspiration lol.

I agree, this is the only place I post and only on the low carb/keto type groups generally.

I have a few that I've joined and follow. I used to post when I first started keto, mainly to ask questions. But there are a lot of people who just aren't nice. I still check in with them to get inspiration, like you. I love the before and after pics. So amazing!

I'm very open on Facebook about my journey. I haven't had anyone come right out and tell me that keto is bad, or anything like that. My mom is interested in keto, but hasn't jumped in yet. She told me that her doctor told her to tell me to be careful. So she is a bit scared to try it. But she has cut down on carbs a lot, so she is doing great.

My sister in law wants to try keto after reading my posts on it. But her dh, my clueless brother, is afraid of the "damage keto will do to their organs." I just told her that fat and protein aren't the culprits, sugar is. But it's hard for some people to wrap their brains around that. Keto isn't for everyone. I know I didn't think it was for me at first. But I'm very happy I gave it a try and realized it's basically the only WOE that makes sense for me. I just wish I had figured it out a long time ago!

Way cool that some of your family wants to get on board as well. It really is an awesome way of eating. So beneficial and rewarding. So many people are skeptical about it but it works!! And like you said, it makes sense. It is not just a coincidence that when we start eating this way we finally start losing that weight that was so stubborn to lose counting calories. I hate counting calories!!!
My extreme goal is to stick to this!!! I want to finally maintain a healthy weight. I am so so soooooo tired of starting a diet and losing weight yet AGAIN.
I have been anxious to finally make it into the 150's. Woke up yesterday at exactly 162. Wore a pair of jeans I bought 2 weeks ago... I was swimming in them. So intold.kyself don't get discouraged about not being in the 150's yet, I am clearly losing inches. I was so hungry yesterday!!! Ate a bunch... still very much keto. Drank my water but not as much as I feel I should have. I peed a lot though. Woke up this morning at 159. Yay!!!! I got on the scale 3 times just to be sure. So at this point if indont lose anything this coming week I am pretty darn happy lol. Weigh in Tuesday was 163 so to he 159 already, woooooooo hooooooo!!!

Amazing under 160! Also I'm glad some one else gets on and off those scales just to check!! :*

I know what you mean though about skeptical, no one really believes me outside of my son as it works for him too!

It is strange though, that we do seem to loose inches without loosing weight! I was visiting very close friends last weekend and she is always slim (why do I like her, there seems to be no good reason!) we were talking weight as she saw I seemed to have lost a load of weight but when I said what I actually weigh, she couldn't believe it as she's thought I was about 20lbs less, (ah now I remember why I like her!!)

    Good luck tomorrow!

It's crazy the way you can loose inches and yet that Damn scale does not move. That is why I really try to not get discouraged. As long as I am doing the right things, changes will happen.
I bet you felt amazing when you heard you look even 20 lbs less than your actual weight. That is awesome. Such a great feeling.
I went shopping today... it feels so good to go clothes shopping and not feel like a fatty lol. I finally feel normal. Like I am a normal person walking around at a normal healthy weight. Lol sounds weird I know. But it's just miserable not feeling comfortable in your own skin. Got a size medium jacket today that looks amazing!! I can't believe I started this a month and a half ago and I already feel a 100x better!!!!

@chinatowninchina That's fantastic she thought you were 20 lbs less than your actual weight. I've read so many stories of how the numbers on the scale don't budge, but clothes are fitting better.

@HaideeJo13 Congrats on reaching the 150's! Love Keto! It's making successes happen all over the place!

Simply type @ chinatowninchina but no space between the @ and the name. It won't show up blue until you hit Post Reply.

@HaideeJo13 - It's actually not crazy, it's science. The body likes to max out. So once it has grown new fat storage cells, it wants to keep them full. So it will hold onto them, filled with water, for weeks, until it is finally shown that you're not going to refill them, and then you have the whoosh. But since water is different in density than fat, it allows you to slim down some, and then so on...

Sadly, this is why it's so easy and often confusing, to regain as much and as quickly when being off plan...those fat cells never go away completely without surgery, so they're always there, just waiting to fill back up...

    Started 10/17 at 184lbs
    10/31- 172lbs
    11/7- 169lbs
    11/14 169lbs
    11/21- 164
    11/28- 163
    Goal 11/28- 162lbs
    12/5- 159!!
Cheated Saturday. Fasted all day. Then we went to a huge Christmas festival, I had some drinks, and did not eat a keto dinner lol. I knew this month was gonna be my month of cheat days, probably one a week this month lol. This month if I only lose a pound a week, that's ok
