Thanks, everyone!
No movement today, but I have a good feeling about seeing the 140s tomorrow. Not sure why, but I just feel hopeful
@tlblanksfit come in here and make my prediction for tomorrow!0 -
Tomorrow's prediction 148.91
-
WOW! I am claiming that prediction! That would be amazing, and I would only be a couple of pounds from pre-Christmas weight if I hit that!0
-
I hope you see the 140's tomorrow1

Ah, the fight is on once again! Woke up at 150.8 today, but I am not upset at all. I shed 7.2 "pounds" in a week and only have 4.6 to go to hit pre-holiday weight. With the way I was eating, I wouldn't be surprised if most of those pounds are actual fat that I need to get back off, which I know will take longer. I don't mind. Giving myself until June has really helped my mindset because I know that I don't even have to lose an entire pound each week to reach my goal. I definitely don't plan on taking that long, but it does remove a lot of the frustration of "smaller" loss days like yesterday (-0) or today (-.4).
I planned to do more resistance training today per my original plan, but my body said "absolutely not!" when I woke up this morning, so I will be practicing yoga instead. I think I will follow this from now on: resistance and HIIT during the week and yoga on the weekends. I will just do longer full-body resistance workouts since I will only be doing them twice a week.
Happy Saturday, everyone!0 -
Aww man I was off but still congratulations on the 7 pound loss for the week which is awesome.1
-
Hahaha! No worries, Tracey -- you will get it right next time! It's my body fighting me to get below 150, but I will win! I am happy being much closer, and I am sure your positive energy helped!0

That meal looks good! Is it home made?
Good luck with getting to below 150 tomorrow. I'm sure you'll get there if not tomorrow, the next few days.0 -
You're a good cook Britt! Everything always looks good and there's a lot of variety. Good luck tomorrow but like Jeanona said...it WILL come0
-
@jeanona @katjustkat: thank you so much! I absolutely love cooking, and I have the time to actually make something different everyday while I'm still on break, which I prefer because I like variety and it's fresher-tasting. It is rice ramen noodles with a fish, seaweed, and miso broth (broth was made in the instant pot), and then I sautéed shrimp, peppers, and onions to put on top.
I actually hit 150.2 today , but I'm not really upset and kind of expected it. I really wasn't hungry yesterday because I was super inactive minus my yoga session, but I ate anyway to stick to my plan when I should've just listened to my body. I easily could've fasted until today. I actually look visibly different already though, so I am okay with a plateau or small gain like this as long as the scale starts moving back down soon. I really just want to never see the 150s again. My clothes fit better and my stomach is much flatter today at 150 than when I was ~145 10 years ago, so even if I don't hit 135, I will probably be satisfied at a higher number (as long as it's below 150!!!!). But we'll see how it goes. I made a tiny adjustment of having a protein shake right after HIIT today, and I will eat in a couple of hours. I will see if that that makes any difference this week. If I don't see movement by my weigh-in on Thursday, I will see if there are other adjustments that can be made.0 -
