I am so glad to see this thread continuing on. I am grateful for this Move it Monday challenge and the informative resources. It has been encouraging to purposely think about starting my week off well. Especially when I didn't really want to, like today .
My catch up post:
For Move it Monday February 12: I moved for (more than) 90 minutes deep cleaning and decluttering,
For Move it Monday February 19: 60 minutes doing 3 miles from 3 Fast Fun Walks with extra cool down and stretches including Flexibility Walk
Today for Move it Monday February 26: 60 minutes doing 4 miles from 5 Boosted Miles.
I really liked this vertically running challenge. It made me more aware of starting my week out well, realizing now how that can impact the rest of my week. I also started keeping track of my total minutes of exercise per day/ week to work towards at least meeting the public health recommendation to exercise 150 minutes at a moderate pace per week. I had several rough days this month that I knew that I could workout for at least 30 minutes and still be on track for at least my minimal weekly goal. I also needed some extra rest days this month, and I was able to easily factor that into the weekly goal now that I had actual number goals to work towards.
Are we going to continue to post our vertical Move it Monday workouts here beyond February? Just wondering.

Only did a 12 minute walk around the house - stuck with another horrible cold. Maybe I'll add some bedtime yoga.4

Great question, @texasgardnr. Here are my thoughts.
The core of this group is in building healthy habits. Each of our weekly challenges has the potential to be adopted as a regular habit or practice that each of us does. Clearly, we have different interests and abilities. Not every weekly challenge will get adopted, but a week of "test driving" the habit wannabee allows us to see if it's a good fit for us. Honestly, when someone reaches out to me or posts that, "You know that challenge we did several weeks ago? I'm still doing it!"...it makes my day! I want our weekly challenges to have some staying power.
So along those lines, I would LOVE to have the Move It Monday challenge be something many of us adopt as a regular practice. Starting the week off with exercise is one of the best healthiest habits we can have. And several of you mentioned that you thought you exercised more the rest of the week because of Move It Monday and that's great!
So, I'd like it to continue and am happy to include a MiM prompt with each of our weekly challenges. Whoever wants to participate can!
So, everyone, I’d like your input on this. Would you like to see Move It Monday become a regular challenge?

@themedalist , I would like the Move It Monday thread to be a regular thing.3

I also would like the Move It Monday thread to be a regular thing. The extra reminder from an MIM prompt sure would help, especially while attempting to establish the MIM habit.
Feel better soon @77tes .

25 minutes of a yoga video done for today! I'm also going to try out the local yoga studio in town so that will be another hour of it. Lol. I'm excited. I do have a bruised tailbone from a rollerblading fall early last week so I will have to be a little more careful than usual. Lol. I haven't been to the gym for a week because of it. But my new job, gym, yoga studio, and church are all in about a 1/4 of a square mile. Lol. I could walk to any of them in about 5 minutes. Lol.4

10 Mon Qigong and have just started 90 day yoga challenge Lesley fightmaster on you tube, really enjoyed the 30 day beginners yoga! Thank you @77tes!4

I have been down with the flu and missing work since last Tuesday. Today I am going to try to focus on not eating crap because it's easy to just throw in the microwave. Althought it's not exercise, if I can at least get out of bed and off the couch longer than the time it takes to warm up a frozen burrito, as pathetic as that sounds, it will be a win!
I'm glad we are extending the Move it Mondays. I really need it.3 -
Move it Monday 3-5
Yoga and golf today.2 -
Take care @OConnell5483 . I've been having a bit of a relapse from the flu myself. I wish you had someone to make you homemade soup.
I'm adding exercise back in slowly. Today 15 min strength training and some short walks.
@fatbambi2017 , glad you've been enjoying the Fightmaster Yoga!3 -

Yesterday I didn't do anything. But walked a bit more today, needing to be accountable so I'm being honest on what I did.2
