    A bit about me: I'm new, obviously. I am 40, no children, but I have a service animal that I love dearly. I have some health issues that require medications. My weight-loss is complicated due to medications and their impact on my hormones and thyroid. I am working on getting more active and specific with my calorie tracking. I am aiming to try and the Zombies, Run! Virtual 5K race this spring.

    I’d like to say welcome and I understand completely the issues with meds and losing weight. I’m on steroids and have been for about 28 years now. On them for life and it’s a definite struggle.

    Yep. These are meds I will be on for life as well. I feel good emotionally on them, and physically I just need to get my stamina back up again. I went for a walk today and lasted about ten minutes. That has got to get better. I have goals. Steroids I am very sensitive to as well as they cause my blood sugar to sky rocket too. But anyways, my goals for this week: Get to walking fifteen minutes at a time; lose 1 kg (2.2 pounds), and make it to the next stop on Walk to Mordor.

    Hey guys! I actually stopped doing this mid January because my scale broke and for some reason isn't hitting the right numbers. I'm working on getting a new one and then I'll be back in! You can keep me in here if you want so that way I'm not lost, but if not, I totally understand and I'll attempt to reenter once it's replaced. :D
