Weigh in week: August Week 5
Weigh in day: Monday
Previous Week's weight: 151.0
Todays Weight: 147.0
I'm still trying to recover from getting my wisdom teeth removed so I haven't had solid foods for a while. I'm having a hard time even eating 1000 calories a day so I haven't tried to exercise at all. So while I'm happy to be into the 140s I'm also a little bummed because I think some of it might be muscle loss and also worried I'll gain it all back when I can eat normal again.1 -

@thedestar I was 14 when I had my wisdom teeth taken out, and I'm 32 now and I remember it like it was yesterday, definitely not a pleasant experience, I feel your pain.
As for the muscle loss, it generally takes longer than 3 or 4 weeks to start losing muscle, usually, just hang in there, you'll get back to normal in no time!!1 -
@thedestar I hope you feel better soon. Take it easy and take as long as you need.
It takes a while to loose muscle mass so you should be fine. Don't get discouraged just be patient and get better.2 -

Our hot weather should be winding down this week and back to our mild hopefully rain free September although we need the rain (not something those of us in the Pacific NorthWET usually say). So the plan is to get outside more.

Okay, so August has not been a good month for me regarding this challenge. It has been really hard to keep up between holidays and work going slightly crazy. But yhis week things are starting to settle again and I am trying new things to see ehich ones work better for me.
For the first time this week I started meal preparation. I have a whole week worth of food in Tupperware in my freezer and I also started Protein shakes as meal replacement once in a while.
Anyone have tried these and would like to share any feedbacks ?

I have been staying on target with my calories this week, doing well there. My back pain is keeping me from any activity though. It is feeling better today. I am a very stubborn person by nature, and I want to force myself back in the gym. But I know that could hurt it worse and keep me out longer, so I am trying to be patient ...4
