Really inspiring and you speak so much truth. It's definitely difficult trying to get over that more more faster faster!! mentality, but it does get easier to recognize it and remember the truth.
Keep going though. You're doing amazing!
  • Thank you.

Today i wanted to mention weight fluctuations. They are pretty crazy.
I realized i do better with daily weigh ins at the moment (i see the patterns more this way and i get more focus), so i see the fluctuations.

So Sunday i was 148.5 and then today (2 days later) 150.7 (chinese takeout was to blame for that one) but i try to concentrate on the low numbers as i know that it is achievable. So yeah weight fluctuations are part of life i guess. Its good to keep in mind.

Yes that is totally true. I have never ever ever been a fan of daily weigh ins. Then, the beach happened and a new scale happened and I was back in the 180s. So, since last week I have been weighing daily and not stressing about it. I think I am going to do it at least until I be assured that I will not go off the rails again.
    You are doing great!!! <3

I'm a huge fan of daily weigh-ins for exactly what you said - as long as you don't let it derail you or take the wind out of your sails, it's a VERY useful tool to see not only where you're at, but how your body responds to certain foods, times of eating, etc. I just like data LOL

    06/08/19 - 150.1 lbs
    27/08/19 - 149.3 lbs

I thought its time to update my sheet, my weight is fluctuating, but the trend is still downward. I continue to see smaller numbers. Lowest was 148.3 this month.

I wish it would be faster, bit i think for me this is the reality. About a pound or two per month.. Ahhh. Oh well. I'm happy to be under 150 but i look so different from what i thought 150 would be for me. Still feeling big, still seeing big on the pictures, the only difference is that now i jump in front of the camera every chance cause i want to see the photos to know what i really look like. Its so hard to tell on distorted selfies..

I think my goal weight is now surely 130 or maybe 127 overall.
Lets hope it will be good by then. Im looking forward to reaching 140 though. Im sure that will make a difference at this point. So 9 pounds to go till then, I should reach it by the end of the year as mentioned.
I plan to enrol to do some light gym sessions once the weather turns cold so hopefully that will boost this speed a little. :)

Oh and i wanted to mention an additional thing.
There is this quote from a Robert de Niro film that they want you to do better, just not better than them.

Now i'm still size 14, but my size 8 friend started to tell me how i don't need to loose any more weight. (?)
Also similar size ladies tell me now i should stop as i will look like a starving woman and i have to be very careful now.. Uuuummm.
Yeah.. Just for the others with this issue, don't believe people, they just don't want you to do better than them..

Well, as you can see I didn't do much this past month..

I'm actually surprised I managed to stay the same as I was slacking big time (but did stay with OMAD).

Weekly splurge days instead of 1 in 2 weeks, extended eating windows..
Oh well, I'm now quite happy with being under 150 to be honest.
My goal to reach 140 before the end of the year..... Not sure, but i will try. From now on every pound lost is a victory.
UGW is about the 130 lbs mark, maybe 127 lbs?
Strangely I'm not unhappy about this today, I again think that i needed the 'break'.
Having said that i did balance things, so ate little some days of the week, or if i had splurge day, it was basically a half splurge day (not eating till 12 sort of thing).
So all in all I'm happy.. :0)

OMAD did change my life. So thank you Omad Revolution.
Everyone starting out, it IS possible. You CAN lose the weight - even without exercise.

Slow and steady. I mean come on.... it is incredibly impressive what you've done in a year! Be damn proud of yourself! It might be slow now and frustrating but you're still doing it and not giving up and that's hella inspiring! :)

NICE WORK babe!!! You've done incredibly well by just following the program! I love it!
  • Oh-oh.
    I have been NAUGHTY!!!

Jeez. I haven't even weighed myself for about a week, I'm too scared to see the numbers. :o
I think it might be around 153. Will do it at the end of the week, maybe I'm able to slim down a little till then. Fingers crossed.

Not an excuse but I have been dealing with some not so pleasant situations and I was just baaad. Not every day but more times than I wanted to. Also I think sometimes its good to have a break to give the body a chance to catch up. i think I restricted the calories maybe too much beforehand as my hair again started to fall out badly, and when i do that i just have enough. I gotta learn moderation! I'm not regretting this decision, i mean I/m still kinda ok even if im 153.

However I decided that again I will go back to the pure omad, and get to the GW of 130lbs..
Realistically however I don't think there will be much changes this year with Xmas approaching and lots of travelling in the meantime..

Aghh, well thats life I guess.

This was so inspiring to read. I wonder where did she go? Hopefully she happy with whatever weight she is currently at. This is my 2nd week of OMAD and I plan to start a thread similiar to this one. If you are reading this feel free to add me as a friend and message me to keep up. Its so crazy that she was so positive and only lost about 3lbs per month on average. Reading this thread after the responses were over made it seem like she was losing almost 10 per month but in actuality it was steady slow and healthy despite how people kept downing her talking about shes not "healthy". Our bodies know whats healthy and whats not. She didnt get sick and I wish this was a book I could read and now I hope to fast as long as it takes me. Im 5'2 starting weight: 197 current weight 190 and goal weight is 160.(still heavy for a 5'2 girl but I feel most comfortable at that weight plus once im 160 Im sure I will want to be lower and lower due to body comp. goals
