Comments: Weight training didn't go as planned, but as my trainer pointed out, I only really made one mistake, it just led to me feeling less than stellar about my training session. Will correct it and do better next time. But for now, it's off to bed.2 -

A first for me today: Resistance bands strength training. At first I thought it was a little too easy and not really building strength, but after 30 mins of nonstop resistance workout exercises, I couldn't hardly move. I liked it bc it combined strength training and cardio work. The sweat was just pouring off. 20 mins of cool down afterwards, then foam roller after a hot shower. I really liked today's workout. Not hard on the knees, and got my heart rate pumping.
@jcgator2016 You'd be surprised at what builds strength. I read a book once on how they train the military, all body weight exercises...you can do some serious damage with body weight and resistance bands...just saying.
@AB0215 Yeah, I did some research last night on resistance training with bands. Need to put this into my training regime. Gonna take a ride to Dick's sporting goods later today.1 -

Comments: Weighed in at 183.7 yesterday so that's good. I really want to keep going down. My next exam is next week so I have some time to focus on simply losing so there are no excuses this week as well as most of next week as well. Not that I'll stop once I have an exam but my expectation is at least maintenance since I used to go crazy in the past during exam weeks lol. Will be under today and get in a workout at home since I couldn't go to the gym due to a tight schedule. Hopefully can get to 182.something by the end of the week.5 -

What a beautiful day. Crisp 56 degrees walking the dog this morning. It was so nice she even went an extra mile around the duck pond. FINALLY got some cardio work in and it felt great.
@AB0215 is Merretsmom (sp) still with us? Haven't heard from her in awhile. Was hoping to ask her questions about her Peloton bike.3 -

Comments: Took it a little easy today, finished my squats from yesterday, I sort of gave up on them because I was so irritated with my Snatches, but looking back I now know why I didn't like them, so I'm feeling better about tomorrow's training.3 -

I do mostly body weight and band in the morning. Nothing like old school. Jumping jacks, squats, pushups, burpees and lunges. 1 minute of each, because I hate counting! Throw in some punches with bands and a few others and Mark it done!
