Ya win some and ya lose some. this week was a wash. Managed to stay the same even with a bit of celebrating over the weekend. At least it's not a gain!1 -

Calories - yes, under all days except one even with travel and eating out, yay!

Exercise: no on Saturday,Sunday, Tuesday but hiked Adirondack High Peak on Monday and got 10k+ steps each of the other days1 -

These consistent half pound losses the past few weeks actually make me happy. I’m about ten - twelve pounds from my goal weight and they come off so slowly. I’m doing what I need to be doing...cardio, weights, eating well 80% of the time, etc. I seem to be going up and down the same two pounds for a few months now which can be frustrating but I downloaded the app Happy Scale. You record your daily weight and it averages out your weight over days so one day of “bad” weight isn’t so frustrating. I used to weigh once a week and that can be so frustrating if you’ve worked hard and the scale doesn’t show it. But we all know that there’s so many factors that contribute to any one weigh in that I’ve found less emotional reaction to weighing every day, putting it in Happy Scale and looking at the overall trend versus one weigh in once a week.4 -

I'm happy to be in the 150's - I've now hit a weight that is lower than all my weight tracking since I got my Fitbit Aria scale over 3 years ago. Although that's good news, I also noticed that I have an annual trend for each of those years around this time, starting at around 180ish lbs and getting down into the low 160's. I need to make these habits stick this time. Hopefully the addition of MFP and these challenges help me break that cycle.

I say this like every week or so but I really need to get back on track. I'm not tracking or drinking water and I'm feeling crappy I know what's wrong and what I need to do but man I just haven't been able to do it. My mother has been at my house for the past week and we've been non stop running errands but we've also eaten out every day as well. She leaves tomorrow so after that I need to get serious again1 -

I got glutened over last weekend (I'm a Celiac, so none for me ever) by a vindictive [insert not so nice name here] and blew up like a balloon. I ate the offending dish on Saturday night, by Sunday night I had gained 4lbs in water weight.
Yes, she did it on purpose. Yes, she's a horrible human who deserves to be kicked in the face. But at least I'm a far better person than she is. I can get better, but she will always be bitter.1 -
