    total loss 12.2lbs.

    I think im going to up my calories a bit. Im going to add more protein was at 140g going to put that at about 160g. Then add about 15g of fat to my daily intake. Im not hungry at all but dont want to lose any mucle mass. I just want to lose 1.5-2 lbs a week at MOST so im going to take a big look at week 3 and see what i did there. Awesome start though I feel great!!!!

    Down 8lbs...Not bad for my first month (three weeks) of Keto. I think I adapted okay to not eating out (sorry McD's but I won't be supporting you any longer).

    No loss this week, but 4.4 lbs down is pretty great! I also realized that I have been following keto for 10 months now! I always had a tendency toward lower carb, but often people would scoff and think I was just crazy or following a fad diet.

    Now I know the science behind this WOE (big thanks to 2 Keto Dudes podcast) and the importance of fat for health (physical and mental) and satiety. I am a PhD student in neuroscience, so understanding the research and the scientific basis of ketosis/ketogenic lifestyle (and the complete lack of scientific support for the high carb/low fat Standard American Diet) has been incredibly important for me.

    Looking forward to February with you all!

    (Loss of 25” and 26.6 Lbs!)

    Achieved goals so far:
    See 185 by 10/19 - SUCCESS!
    Lose 25 Lbs - SUCCESS! 10/18
    Keep Lost weight OFF during this Holiday Season - Nope, I didn’t keep it all off, but I also didn’t gain it all back like last year, so I consider that a win!
    See 179 before Valentine’s Day (or at least before March 2019)
    Ultimate Goal Weight: 145

    I’m back from vacation and ready to get back on the keto wagon! (Oh keto how I have missed you! I promise to not cheat again for a VERY long time!!!)

    I want to start the year by working towards Valentine’s Day!

    Sunday 01/06 - 193.4 lbs - whoops! Vacation hurt more than I thought it would! But I know I’ve got some bloating left from the travel so hopefully next week I will see a big drop. :smile:
