Still very happy with the weight loss even though it has slowed down. I was sick with a head cold all week and with the snow and really cold weather I didn't go to the gym. Steps were also way down but I'm back to being healthy again and that's okay. On to this week and getting back to the steps and exercising. Looking to move into the 100's in February.7 -

A second snowstorm is hitting us here in Toronto. Kids will likely have a snow day tomorrow, so I am trying to get work done today. It looks pretty outside, but I am ready for winter to be over!

Whoo Hoo look at us... first place for both Weight Lost and Steps Challenge for Week 4! No thanks to me on the weigh lost... great job team!
Yesterday was mostly a rest day. Slightly over on calories but ate well. Second day of feeling on track and the scale was kind this morning. Dinners are planned out for the week and I scheduled exercise in my calendar so I'm feeling better organized. This morning I went grocery shopping. I'm still feeling exceptionally hungry during the day so I'm going to make spicy southwestern chicken soup and the cauliflower/farro dish so I have food at the ready when hunger strikes. Hopefully that prevents me from eating whatever quick junk I find.

I actually got out of bed today with no problems at 4am. It was surprising. My legs were really hurting yesterday from the pound class on Saturday then going to Zumba yesterday. It was a little tough yesterday afternoon. My Arbonne girl text me today to tell me my package of goodies to start my weight loss challenge should arrive next Tuesday. I'm going to hope it works or at least gives me a little jumpstart, especially helps with my ibs. I'm excited. Hopefully all the drinks taste good. I think I have to give up some of my treats I save for every now and then. And I think no beer. Lol.3 -

Haven't done a daily check in for a while. Last week was tough. Depression was really messing with my head, BUT, I can say that I stayed on track better and got out of my slump faster than usual, thanks in large part to this group!
So far today:

Water: at least 60oz
Exercise: walk/jog 2 miles, still have yoga to do. Hopefully tendonitis won't flare up and I can keep jogging once or twice a week.

Hey y'all
I changed my user name just now because I realized since my old username included my last name, I was really easy to search. Which was made clear to me when a random male user messaged me referring to information I had not told him.
So, old username was czvanut. New name is GingerPwr4 -
I missed a lot Lol! Thank you all for your well wishes. It meant a lot to me. I gave an update on my profile page about my Mom. In a nutshell, the move went well, a lot more work than I anticipated. I was out of the condo early and home late (usually not back until after 11pm and not to sleep until 2am) I am so tired even though I got a good nights rest last night. This is the first time in over a year that I am happy with her situation. She is finally getting the care she needs. She is also happy where she is which made things easier. I didn't do well with exercising but there really was no time or I would have exhausted myself. I did do a lot of physical work so I am ok with my lack of formal exercise. I did horrible with eating. I did buy a lot of good food but was never back at the condo to eat it. I ended up having a vicious cycle of getting too hungry and then eating junk or whatever was available. I should have planned better and brought some things to my Moms. What a waste of money but my Aunt was happy to get what I didn't eat so that was good at least. The worst part of it all, I am exhausted and do not have any motivation. I am going to push to get back on track, starting with facing the scale tomorrow. Wed new job starts and newsflash..my son moves to Houston next TUESDAY!! I knew it was coming but he kept pushing it back so I kinda was hoping maybe it was not going to happen. It is time for him to fly from the nest but to maybe a nice nest not too far from his mother. Not in Houston...Ugh! Ok, enough about me....

@nstephenson01 I am so impressed that you have exercised almost everyday since Christmas. Don’t ever give up because of what the scale says. That’s what has gotten me in trouble over the years. You can do this. The hunger thing is a problem with me too. I keep getting stuck at that part in my book and can advance past it. Hope planning your lunches help you.
@cassiegetsfit2013. Belated Happy Birthday. Hope you can get back on track. You were doing so well. Hope you can see your counselor or someone who can help you. Hang in there. I hope things get better for you.
