    Thanks all for the advice and well-wishes. :) I'm doing better today, but still using one crutch about 50% of the time. GF is still pretty rough, but hanging in there.

    @Janet: Congrats on the 10k and half. You still rock in my world girl no matter how it went.I think you are amazing.
    @vhuber: So glad you are back!
    @Dave:Ditto on everyone else’s advice. I found the heat helped rather than the ice when my knee did crazy stuff. It still is. Yesterday I had my third viscous injection and one of my former students did it.
    Jan. 11 -12: Adding 24 miles. I got some bike miles in yesterday before my injection put me out of commission for the rest of the day. Back in the saddle today for total of 20 peddle miles and 4 walk miles. I am looking at joining the Row House Gym and take up rowing for running. It might be my new cardio. Need to keep working on my cardio improvement on my bike first.

    @K80flec - Yep. That's me. It's actually not the best Kayak for around here but I got it before we moved out here. It glides like a hot knife through butter on a lake. That's not even the best lake. Next time I head to Lake McDonald I'll have to get another photo.

    Marathon and Dopey Challenge done! It was warm for running but I felt pretty good and had fun. My half marathon time was significantly faster than yesterday. The second half not so fast - there was a lot of walking once the sun was up, but all good. I'm at 91/75 and that's goal!

    @sufferlandrian - love the photos.

    @darkrider42 - hope you and the GF continue to improve.

    Such a rare beautiful day for January we decided to go to the beach. I got my training done then took off for the beach. It did not disappoint.

    Way to ROCK everybody, you just seem to keep pushing on!!!! I pray ALL of your aches & pains to be gone & any sickness to be very short term!
    Must say I was sorta lazy fitness wise on Fri & Sat but did household things. Today I did 12 on the ex bike & 3 walking with one my my fur babies. I feel sad cuz we think the other one is growing weaker by the day! I love my dogs & it is soooo hard on me when they die.

    @Dean: I am so jealous in a nice way. What beautiful scenery. I look at car exhaust or runners telling me to go find some where else to ride. I usually have to go off the beaten path. Then my trail running group hates what the mountain bikers do to the trails. I get it, but no one likes to share.
    I do have some nice places to use my kayaks.

    @anaconda: Love your beach photos too!
